#NYFW Day 3 and 4 - From Alexander Wang to Tibi to Victoria Beckham

For me the idea of having fun with fashion is great but wearability and height is a factor.

Take these heels at Herve Leger Max Azria, incredibly architectural and bold yet simple.

Then we transition into Victoria Beckham's Spring collection where minimalism is expected but at the same time, it had a sense of simplistic chic of wearability together or into separates.

I appreciated the monochrome look but with the added geometric cut out shaping on the torso, I thought little added details like that speaks volumes for how subtle one can be while dressing.

Alexander Wang showcased "X" , which I believe marked the spot for the stomach to show or the idea of oops is the boobs going to fall out, wait nevermind.
I liked the sporty chic he showcases every season but yet adds some new aesthetic to it making it completely brand spanking new. The idea of the fly away shirt and jackets I thought were structurally perfect. Like wind blown.

I mean the shapes, the casualness to it, Im in love with. Not to mention the cheeky laser cut Alex into his various tops, Id wear and rebrand "Alex" for Alexander Wang, just like everyone did in the 90s with "Tommy" for Tommy Hilifiger.

Finally, Tibi, always so chic and feminine with the boxy cuts, the simple separates and feminine take to classic masculine outfits.

Loved the ombre and lax feel of the clothing, hand in pocket worthy of course.

Utility with a plan tee and shorts, yes!

I like how some designers can go downtown and yet come uptown with how anyone can wear it! Once again, the idea of wearability and having fun is visible here.
