Phillip Lim always touches upon masculine meeting feminine chic and uptown flair with downtown flavor. This collection was no different in his aesthetic and design.
I did enjoy the embroidery on the shoulder and jacket hemlines. A little sheer but not much.
Of course Lim still does a smart cropped trouser with smart printing and fit.
The electro kaleidoscope like design on various pieces like the tops and pants with were significantly roomy and carefree. I thought that is something really cool that we have not seen for spring yet.
The metallic rust pieces were very icy and yet right for Spring. Gives us time to cool down on those hot days.
Overall the simplicity, the technicality and sheer styling of the pieces and printing together called for one heck of a show.
