#NYFW Christian Siriano Spring 2014 - Romance is in the air

Christian Siriano's Spring 2014 inspiration comes from his trip to the Island of the Women on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, where he was influenced by the scenery and architecture of the overall beauty of it. The Mexican culture that gives off that youthful vibe in which we all search for.

The show venue in contrast to the clothing was well produced and executed, it draws more attention to the details of each piece and how his trip atmosphere was probably like with the Tiki Hut in the background.

It was a sea of usual Siriano dramatic and technically beautiful stitching and use of complementary printing to the woman's form. The gorgeous varying usage of organzas, the evolving florals that are a bit subdued, feathered and sequined numbers that transform.

I spot some red carpet and premiere dresses, don't you?

The idea of a cape brimming with out of body florals is divine and is so femme spring appropriate.

This number felt very black swan, dove ish. Beautiful A-line flounce dress with a nip in the waist and a lot of contrasting texture to show.

Wonderful styling done by Danielle Nachmani and that sleek hair in a pony is done by Anthony Cole Sebastian Professional.

Overall, this spring looks as if it is to be a fun time with wholesome femininity and romance. You can go bold or light as you see fit.

By the way, Siriano for Payless fans, those are for Spring 2014, collective screams may ensue.
