#NYFW Day 6 - Timo Weiland Fall/ Winter 2014

Timo Weiland brings lineage and fun back to the art of dressing, not just in terms of looking at something on a runway and loving it but always figuring out a way to get your hands on it and the wearability of it.

The collection felt a little 90s (nod to the earring) but with such modernity and great shapes to every piece.

I love the exposed zipper down the middle in this gray and lightly dusted blue dress. Matched with teh white blouse and black strips on the neck and sleeve, I love this. School like.

Then the matching patterned coat, I love this. Reminds me of the LV New Resort Men's collection striped coats, there is just something so chic about striped coats but add some lightly dusted blue metallic like Weiland did here and we are good to go.

Then the graphic wavelength zigzag skirt with the black and white jumper, quite a mix but they work with each other. Very chic. Then the geometric graphic square and sheer lined shirt with basic black pants and shoes, very easy to wear and I love that pattern! Doing a graphic with a solid regular black pants is quite popular. Worn with a black overcoat, youll get attention to your chest!

The ultimate 90s plaid pants, YES. With that wool grey color blocked, textured leather sleeve long jacket, Very smart. This looks felt quite sporty with the white striped neckline and wrist like tennis knit with the plaid pants and glossy hair.

And the long flouncy dotted easy skirt with a textured black knit.

Overall, very smart dressing and cool girl chic, without going over the top if you do not feel like it. Timo Weiland captures the back to basics but with some of graphic flair you can wear whenever you want.

Very smart collection and a new fan!
