#NYFW - Day 1: Richard Chai Love Fall/ Winter 2014

Always love to share my favorite highlights of the Richard Chai Love Runway Fall 2014 Show. I swear that I look foward to Richard Chai every season. He knows the layering I love to do, the way I would like my future boyfriend to look like, and the chic sportswear I adore. This season is no different except for a little "pirates booty" going on. Haha!

Not only is there layering but the chic sportswear has plaids and some serious lace detailing.

I love the styling on each piece. The mixed media and playful colors and prints on every outfit.

The left look was lace tapestry galore in grey and deep burgundy.

The right look is an earthy tone in burnt orange and mustard. Have a jacket like this from Moschino Cheap and Chic, in which, I love the rustic feel behind it, like a rustic England look.

These piratey looking stripes are quite neat. Feels a little pajama like and prisoner but with a nice black leather top as shown on the left, adds a unique flair to the menswear inspired look.

A fresh camel coat for the winter.
And the rocker metallic suit on the right, I love the curvature of the jacket on the bottom. Plus they did the right model with her auburn hair!

Definitely one of the best shows for fashion week day 1 for me.
