#NYFW Day 5 - Honor Fall/ Winter 2014

Honor brings something innovative every season and yet pays homage to the previous styles of yesteryear.

Giovanna Randall every season makes something embroidered or cut with well structured lines that I believe makes a woman's body look so sleek and streamlined but under our clothes we can rock cellulite.

My favorite looks are these:

The sheer number is amazingly done! The collar and under sheer v-neck shows which I think is quite genius, then the sheerness has these subdued florals and lineage that looks like dim stars in the sky.

The plaid coat is definitely continued until the fall, I love the poke of white, feminine fit with black pants for a modern working girl city look. I mean who says you have to wear business grey to fit in?!

Then the sheerness continues with these romantic numbers that are very dainty in their execution, the minor ruffling in the collar, bottom hem, and wrist area. I love how subdued it is and the satin like look of the middle. Very beautifully done.

Then the off white bone like color is quite pretty and the sheer has sort of a pearly etching into it.

And the graphic floral continues but are not heavy at all, which is a nice change. I love a little poke at the 90s here. The long billowy length with sheer white and black floral top. A change to the black long gown, that has been a staple in society women's dresses.

Then the all black dress, I believe its a long skirt with crop top. Or if thats a really skinny belt, then the illusion really works.

All in all, I love how beautiful and well executed each piece in this line was, felt a little medieval victorian meets the modern woman. Especially with those pigtail braids tied back into one braid.

Solid.
