Harry Potter: The Legacy
Im quite sad to see the series come to an end, but with every end there is a new beginning. These past few days, I have been feeling quite melancholy, the last movie airs in theaters this Friday July 15th. And quite frankly, I have never been more proud of a movie series yet.
This series opened our eyes to wizardry and we got to know the lives of many strangers whom we now call heroes and foes. About 10 years of this we have been invited to join this fantasy which I say was a huge reality in many people's lives.
*As I write this, Im playing Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve*
Quite an appropriate song, because thats what im feeling. It great that evils are defeat but its the end of an extraordinary journey we have taken up with these young wizards. Since I was a young child at the age of 9 to now being 19, I grew up with this series.
And so have the actors and actresses whom have worked on this movie with countless producers, directors, and set production staff whom are so delightful and exciting.
We have lost some characters over the course of the series, so heartwrenching but then we meet new ones and fall in love with them, and all must come at peace towards the end.
The fall battle of Hogwarts and a battle it shall be. I bought the dvd for Deathly Hallows Part 1 because I need to see it before I go to Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Staff and the actors all in tears and feeling quite sad at the end of such a great series but they feel as if they have graduated and truly they have left us memorable memorable memories that can never be erased.
The cast has truly grown, so have we grown and we grown to love them. 8 Films later. 1 billion to make all 8 and about 6-7 billion in revenues.
I wish everyone the best of luck in all their future endeavors.

OH how sad I am about the end of this era. I have read and watched this amazing story and admired JK for the work she has accomplished. I will miss each character in different ways and jump at the site of the collectors edition for the films as I already have the books, trunk and all.
