Designing With the Senses

So I recently headed over to my favorite hang out, IKEA and got some quality pieces for my new room, since I moved. I feel its important to create an atmosphere that provides adequate cozy sleeping conditions, a place for creativity, and work the design muscle we all somehow have.

The Eivor Curtains!

My closet, a place for bag display now and the sides.

Look who loves it too.

I was going for whismical, fun, and a woodsy style of colored environment for my space.  All the things I incorporate when I draw I like it on my things.
Plus I love how they contrast with each other yet are complementary.

Finally got a comforter and duvet set.
The sheets are from Home Goods, lovely branching style they are. Im in love with them.

Added bonus is the pillow character matches the character on the rug, who knew? I did.

Never did wall decals, so this was a first for me. This cherry blossom like tree set up is so whimsical and adorable. I had to get it.

Stay tuned for more treatments I do as I add some more of my furniture and decor into this room as time progresses!
