Staying true to form, Desigual puts on an amazing show, the set design being a watercolor and aesthetically pleasing stage, models with beautiful red rimmed makeup, bold eyes, and a dewy face look. Further beyond that canvas was the designs.
The Fall 2016 collection reflects upon the urban culture melting pot that encompasses all heritage, all cultures through its various prints and textures. I love how much fun Desigual puts into the outfits and the models you could tell loved it and felt comfortable.
The styling was so inspiring and gave one that feeling of self confidence and self expression. The prints are always so admired in the new variations they have and new ways they come alive. Not only was the show itself lit but so was the attendees, Mr. Nigel Barker, Fashion Photographer and Next Top Model Alum, Ms. Jay Alexander, Runway Coach Extraordinaire and few Next Top Model Alum, Ms. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, French art director and model, plus daughter to one of our generations best fashion forward innovators and former French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld.
P.S. - Desigual, I love you.
