#NYFW Desigual Spring 2014: Freedom of Expression

Desigual yesterday showcased a fabulous runway show which was their first ever show! The models had great flirty energy that felt like one big dance and music party that we are all invited to. All smiles and some surprise moments like impromptu dancing and model order changes.

Apparently the inspiration for this season was "Life is Cool", I interpret this as living free and expressing yourself by any means. The models aesthetic and the clothing represented both ideas. I mean not only was it a 60s kind of vibe but aside from the fun mixed prints of Desigual they innovated it to measures where new patterning and clothing shapes can evolve!

The burgeoning vibe and hues. The symmetry and cuts of the various tops and dresses can make any girl wear it and pull it off.

The additional throw in of menswear was a nice welcome treat to me.

Work!

Expressionism and freedom goes along way, paired with a cute bag, low messy-like pony, and stacked platforms, Deisgual hit the nail on the head!

I found this one to be very Americana like, a nice treat to see this one made.

 Attitude and flair!

There was this one dress in the collection that I was absolutely bonkers over! Can they release it now so I can buy it and fawn over it forever like my Alexander Wang Angela Pochette?

My expression was my outfit of choice today.
Alfred Embroidered Top
Michael Kors Black Shorts
Nike Ltd Rubik Cube

I caught some videos of the impromptu moments and a bit of the finale!
