Tom Ford, forgoing the usual LA showing and quick pace retreats of the other high end designers flocking to adding themselves to the European (London, Paris) fashion week schedule, showed last night here in New York City!
As usual the multi talented A+ List designer, showed an enviable collection very suitable for the fall/winter collection, that it is being showcased for and ended with a plethora of gorgeous men in lovely riche boxers.

I loved the cross between a velvet revolution late 70s early 80s rocker with the textural play between silks and furs (on bombers, trousers, etc) along with a pattern play interposed with animal prints galore against a neutral winter block safety background of whites, blacks, greys!

Tom can never do wrong. Always a smart collection, some may call it safe but I call it viable, smart, knows his crowd, and the addition of print and suit styling and suit structures goes a long way! The luxurious enveloping bomber jackets against a black backdrop with a suitable severe sunglasses! The quintessential late 70s, touch of 80s, and 90s club look with a modern take. I love a look that can be modern but take any element of any decade and rework it. Thats artful.
Congrats Tom! I see loads of these pieces on some celebs hitting the red carpets for movie premieres, tv appearances, and on the movies themselves!
