One of my favorite and absolute favorite ad campaigns will forever be from Gucci's 2008 Fall Collection. The chic nomads with their designer handbags, the gypsy feel to it, and the composition of a large field where it looks as if the models are playing around.
Of course it features the Gucci Babouska Rabbits Duffle Bag.
Such freedom this ad has and which is why it is forever a classic Gucci ad.
And not to mention, a picture of the runway show, which definitely translated straight from the ad. A very cohesive collection filled with complementary bright patterns in respect to black being the central colour that it was probably designed around. Very symmetrical prints at the same time.
And look who is modeling at the time in 2008, my love established Freja Beha Erichsen and youngin' (at the time) Karlie Kloss.
Sort of reminds me of Anna Sui at the same time who does fabulous prints and Vera Bradley, who does these graphic prints for her series of bags.
I for one am a sucker for prints, always have been and always will be. Will do an outfit soon inspired on this collection.

I like bold prints too... I think they can make an outfit stand out :) Have a great rest of the weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI like prints too but I am just getting more comfortable with mixing multiple prints in a single outfit. I loved this post. So awesome.
