Its Official: Proenza Schouler Store on 822 Madison Ave

Just got the heads up email. Remember the rumours of the opening date on the Proenza Schouler First Standalone store on 822 Madison Ave?

Well the official date is July 13, 2012. Thats about 2 weeks away. I for one am I fanatic of Proenza, I cant wait to see how they make the architecture of the store visually appealing and display the items. I may buy my things in person from now on instead of online. So I can actually see everything in person. I mean sometimes shopping in person is an experience that online shopping cant provide. I mean I understand the convenience of online shopping if there is no time (New Yorkers and everyone alike can understand) but there is always something so gratifying and caring that you'd take the time out to shop in detail.

Can you imagine all the bags in different colors, the wallets, the cases, and the clothing all on display. You bet that Ill (try) be there opening day.

Can you believe how far they have come? I remember meeting them at the Teen Vogue 2005 Fashion U discussion event they had and now they are huge in the industry. Congrats J&L, you are truly visionaries that I will continue to follow~

Its Official: Sean Astin to NYCC

From the fame of Goonies (to get to One-Eyed-Willie's treasure) to White Water Summer (coming of age discovery) to Lord of the Rings, Sean Astin will grace us with his presence at this year October's New York Comic Con at the Jacob Javtiz Center.

 Astin will be hanging at NYCC, hosting a panel and signing autographs for fans Friday to Sunday.


So you folks, know that tickets are still selling, get them now or miss out on the glory of Mr. Astin.

Healthy Fitness Summer Anthem

So I have made a pact with myself. That I want to try every (well almost every thing) fitness classes I can in the corners of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and out on Long Island. Not to mention, I already have my growing number of at home fitness dvds, books, and magazine cut outs.

My goal is to exercise 5-6 times a week. I want to do mix ups and also incorporate more vegetables and fruits into my meals. I will gradually make these changes so that in 3 weeks they become a habit and not an obsession. So Farmers Markets, Supermarket, and Health food stores, Hello my old friends, I will be visiting more often.

Picture of my 2 new shoes and I have been wearing for the past 2 weeks. Reebok Yourflex I got from the outlet in New Jersey for 59 dollars. And the Reebok Zigtech I got for a deal of 10 bucks.

I really feel like instead of sitting around or eating, just to go out and do something before August. Commit myself to being outside and not lazing around on the computer. I may even try going to those summer outdoor concert series. I really want to make this summer memorable and as healthy as possible.

 Also, before I forget, I am on my second bottle of Juiceology drinks that I recently tried in the health food store. I will do a review of them because I think they are great so far.
I will say I prefered the grapeseed one than this one I am drinking today the blueberry acai.

Picture of the next book I have been in love with for the past 2 weeks. Along side my kindle which is my reading mecca. It shows you healthy options and ways to get those mini meals into 300-400 calories. You dont have to eat less to be satisfied but to choose better filling options. Ultimately like I said before, I feel like I have a new commitment to life. 

Fitness magazines from the United Kingdom, thank you Barnes & Noble for carrying BodyFit UK. I love the tips, advices, guides, and methods to the ultimate lifestyle or bettering your own lifestyle.

Finally I have to introduce my new croco envelope wallet by Ami. Found this in a vintage store down in Williamsburg and I have been in love with it ever since. I cant wait to start carrying it. Very slim line and neat. I can carry everything in it and put it into a bag.

If I could wish..An NYCC dream

I could dream of the cast of Its Always Sunny in Philly coming to New York Comic Con. It would be everything to me. They are always at San Diego Comic Con, why not come to ours?

The day that happens this will be my reaction, like Charlie Day style:


But yeah, I really hope that this year's NYCC will be more amazing than the last one. If they can top all of the announcements and me meeting with James Marsters, then I can be happy.

I see London, I see France, I see Lush's BB Seaweed Mask

So while I am on the final night of this trip, I went to Lush earlier today, which is one of my favorite beauty places. And I realized that I tried almost all of their products with the exception of hair care and facial masks. I being of sound mind and curiosity for life, decided to try one of their all natural face masks. So I bought their BB seaweed mask in addition to Mango butter soap and their Lemony Flutter Cuticle Cream I always wanted to buy.

I love the smell so herbal and natural. The texture is quite consistent and creamy. You can see the bits of seaweed present in the content. I love the way it goes on, it feels like going to the spa but in your own little space and for less money.

The only thing is it has to be kept in refrigeration. Keep it on for about 10-13 minutes and then wash off. When washing off its very milky like on the skin, so I had to wash it really well. The smell is great. My skin looks dewy and natural.

Overall I really liked testing it and will look forward to buying another jar when this is finished. I could definitely see myself buying this more often.

Why you so upset? Haha. That is my worst pic but its the only i got. My camera person, "mum", is bad. Yep the casual look as I visited Revel, the newest casino. I really enjoyed the architecture and the design. The restroom areas are misleading Ill admit and you feel confused but its beautiful nonetheless. The casino was pretty darkish but im partial to it. Not good and not bad either. The machines reminds me of new places that take your dollars but select few take away money. World of Gambling no?

Well anyways back to my original place, this was in the garage. It was the cutest thing ever and I had to take pictures and stop to admire this work of art.

Also, a little trip to the Tiffany's in the Pier Mall here: I bought myself a new piece. I hardly buy jewelry but this one I had to. Lovely two small hearts. Eggshell blue and the silver hearts. by Tiffany.

Hopefully, I may buy an Elsa Peretti Bean before I leave and some new gear at the Outlets, which I have not ventured into yet.

Insanity Week 3 : HELLO BURN

So on this vacation I decided to restart my Insanity from where I left off, Week 3. I am quite determined to make it stick. Those that may say "Oh your crazy, just enjoy the vacation..." I am like:

I mean why not enjoy it in being sensible about what you eat and working out! Its still fun. Today was the Plyo Cardio Circuit. Not one of my favorites but in rest mode now that its done. I will probably sleep easy tonight. What kills you is the level 1 drills, basketball, wide football sprints, and in and out abs. My abs are still crying after that good abuse.

In Atlantic city currently for Day 2, but these are from yesterday. Was really looking forward to come down here yesterday. The drive down was pretty quick and the scenery was no doubt natural.

Beeh's Trip Time: Packing Part Two Finale

So, the trip to Atlantic City is officially a go tomorrow morning early! Like super early. Really excited and finally finished all packing. My luggage, carry on and my crossbody bag of choice.

I did not take a lot of detail images but you'll see everything since.....I might as well make it the next series of posts I do. Trip time photo diary is the game.

Beeh's Trip Time: Packing Part 1

 I have been so excited since the semester has been over. I missed the time to go to "Do:AC" during Memorial weekend. So my Atlantic City vacation is this weekend and a little bit of the week too. I have officially started packing and have my awesome t-shirts. Many being Marvel comic t-shirts, some randoms, my new Calvin Klein Crop Red Pants (my first colored denim in fact!), and other various things.

Love this bag I got for $5.00 USD. Holds alot of stuff and I cant complain.

You can see Captain America, Spiderman, Stark Avengers Tee, Thor, the whole crew, and yep thats it.

Carrying my Simply Ming Box Set and my Insanity Workout. I mean why not. Enjoy watching some cooking and exercising while not being outside.

A good Chanel bag is key.

Birkenstocks are good for the soul. Ill probably bring another pair.

And my awesome two-tone sunnies. Makes me feel like 3 thousand bucks.

So thats a taste of what im packing.

There will be more because you need options, yes? I will probably live in Birkenstocks, my Tory Burch Sandals, and other shoes.......that I will reveal in my packing part 2 posting!

Hehe, I will also carry and re-read my Imadoki Manga series Volumes 1-5. I cant find my High School Debut series and my Hot Gimmick Collection is 12 volumes.....quite a lot to carry.
