April 2020 Book Club: What I am Currently Reading

And with that, we are quickly approaching April. I hope everyone is staying safe during the time of this pandemic. Remember to stay calm, work at home, limit being outdoors but be more creative and home and maybe get lost in a book. Books take on many forms such as: books for improvement, books for another world beyond our imagination, poetry for lines that force us to imagine and feel what the creator wants us to know and fill in the blanks and also cookbooks if you want to be the next Iron Chef. Stay Strong!

Here is my April 2020 Book List. Its shorter than March because my hefty goal for March didn't quite pan out and was not completed! I managed to finish 4 out of 6 books! So I am added my last 2 from March and these 4!

Kat's Pick #1:
Manners begin at Breakfast by Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece
Last manners book I read was an Emily Post book and childhood lesson books from my graceful mother herself and in the future I will probably teach my daughter the same thing to have in her arsenal.

Kat's Pick #2
I love a good self help and inspirational book, lets be bosses folks.

Kat's Pick #3
Good little fiction series to start and get lost in during these times.

Kat's Pick #4
Another fun fiction piece that I hear great things about!

If you end up reading any of these, please let me know what you think, for my community, I want us to engage in different philosophies and share thoughts, whether the book resonated with you or even if you didnt agree with something in the book.

Also share any more books you find interesting.

Top of the Top: Kat's Favorite Hand Creams for the Winter & To Use After Hand Sanitizer Sprays!

I hope everyone is staying safe during the viral plague and washing their hands!

I know alot of hand sanitizers have been selling out and everyone is making their own concotion using aloe vera gel and 60%-90% Isopropyl alcohol BUT....

I understand that using alcohol can make your hands dry and using sanitizers and washing your hands alot causes dry hands especially during this winter time.

As we transition into spring from winter, I wanted to share some of my favorite hand creams or salves that I alternate between every week!

Some have more added benefits than others and all of them are not greasy at all, at least to me.

Kat's Pick #1
Sabon's Hand Cream in the Lavender Rose scent
A really nice splurge for a relaxing scent!

Kat's Pick #2
Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Hand Cream
Super Moisturizing and nourshing with Manuka Honey at a great price.

Kat's Pick #3
L'Occitane's Néroli & Orchidée Hand Cream
Can also buy in the large tube. This one lasts a while and its a beautiful scent.

Kat's Pick #4
GNC's Vitamin A, D, and E Moisturizing Cream
One wouldn't consider GNC but they have some of the get moisturizers that you can use for Hand and face at a great bargain price and filled with vitamins! I also love the Vitamin C version to the cream.

Kat's Pick #5
Black Sheep's The O.G. (original). The Hand Salve
Its a thicker and more rich and moisturizing texture than regular lotion!

Stay safe, hydrated, clean, and moisturized everyone!

I figured since graduating Law School and now I have time with my regular working job, that I am further able to delve into my reading and other hobbies.

I know that everyone has one of these lists but mine is a mixture between:
self-help, motivational, comedy, entertainment, celebutante memoirs, chick-lit smut, and mystery

which will spice up your life or make you want to move to the town in the book. Either way, its a win win.
