Just In: J. Crew Cocoon Coat in Stadium Cloth Heather Grey #JCREW

This is a true J. Crew heritage piece, I always loved the idea of the warm and soft fabric being made in Italy at the Nello Gori mill for J. Crew, always seen the stadium cloth coats, the double cloths, andover peacoats and etc. Never bit the bullet because I felt I have enough coats and I liked J. Crew for other things besides coats.

Finally, decided to buy it on sale and for a good price as a cardholder for about $170 and change. Its still on sale here, the Cocoon Coat in Italian Stadium-Cloth Wool.

Its so sophisticated, soft, warm, the pockets so gorgeously positioned, and a great work-transitioning to-play, going out to STK be home at 11pm, kind of coat.

Even though its a heather grey color, its quite vibrant and bright! Its a lovely monochrome hue and the fabric isnt bulky that you can basically wear it with anything! No more mushroom lumpy bigga chic.

#NYFW - Son Jung Wan Fall 2018 - "Extreme Ways!" Diving to Maximum Chic Silhouetting! #SonJungWan

Son Jung Wan is always one of my favorite New York Fashion Week staple shows, the Korean darling brings classic design elements of the east to meet the silhouettes of the west, this time delving into Maximalism!

Here were some top stunners and my personal favs, I could wear the yummy dark coat with some jeans too!

Meaning the styling creates a sense of fluff, there is patterns galore, all chicly fit the model and wish you could wear any piece and play around with it, as you see fit!

Son is knowing for mixing patterns like floral stripes with a brocade or chiffon tailored look or a yummy metallic piece against a lame material for a shiny sporty look. And the traditional tailoring. Omg.

The interposing fabric play against a backdrop of a solid color that has a color patterned fur piece added for a funky chic look and the bejeweled platform shoes ready to make any outfit look like a cross between 70s and late 90s.

And some fab celebs delightfully said what weather and came through! Gizelle Bryant, my fav girl who knows the word on the street, from Bravo's Real Housewives of Potomac

Next, you have long time staple of SJW's shows, Kelly Rutherford, known as Lily from popular young adult book into drama adaptation on CW, "Gossip Girl".

Of course the ever Fabulous Miss Jay, Runway Extraordinaire, Runway Coach, Legendary Model, and a personality on America's Next Top Model. And alongside him Masika Kalysha, of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood Fame!

And Russian Roulette also came saw and loved!

This collection this year screamed "BIH COME THRU" or "I have to pick up some lavender from the organic market but I have a wicked dinner with all my friends right after."

#HolidayCheer: Valentine's Day 2018: LETS GO #WilliamsSonoma or #Nordstrom!

Changing the tune of the wonderous blogger haven of Valentine's Day gift picks scrumptiously offered showing what you can buy for your significant other, your dog, or even yourself. I want to turn that boringness and authoritative standpoint by showing what ALL can enjoy! Here a couple of cute things and knicks knacks that I believe are pretty cool, everyone can enjoy and if you are condemned to a single-servitude for eternity, then there are some neat stuff you can indulge in and then go do a juice cleanse, bank detox or whichever.

Warning List Below has awesomeness and sarcasm mixed right in!  Relatable? hugs forever. (Images courtesy of Williams-Sonoma.com and Nordstrom.com)

Valentine's Day Etched Heart Flutes at Williams-Sonoma, $12 each or you can buy a set. Drink with your real lover, your fictious romance novel

Valentine's Day Cookies, at Williams-Sonoma, the box is $32.

Bacon and Eggs Cookie Box, at Williams-Sonoma, $28 a pop! This is my personal favorite and so modern as fuck, forget the hearts, go for the bacon!

Slip Silk Pillowcase, the limited edition Valentines Kisses one, $79 at Nordstrom. Slip has gotten so huge now! A splurge one but hey what a way for the single gals like me to get our kiss via a pillow and not have fine lines and aging from regular cotton pillows! Score. FANCY AF.

Meri Meri Valentine's Day Party Bundle, $68 at Nordstrom. You can have a "Its my party and ill cry if I want to" Valentines lonely moment with a party set or invite your girlfriends to watch Sex and the City for a anthropological philosophical breakdown of relationships. Either way, this is a fab set to do it.

Wildfox Not Today Cupid Tee, $77 at Nordstrom. For those of you are not feeling it or wanna show your significant other to fuck off on that day! So perf! These with a Williams-Sonoma box and buying your own flowers, make your Valentines Day Great Again!

Diptyque Rose Delight Candle, LTD, $68 at Nordstrom. So what if your significant other didnt buy flowers or forgot, time to be petty and envelope your space with your own floral scent! Smelled this in person, its soooo good! Instagram aesthetic worthy, have this by the clawfoot tub and that picture of your legs never looked and smelled so good.

#NYFW: #TomFord Fall/Winter 2018 Menswear Collection. #SoCool

Tom Ford, forgoing the usual LA showing and quick pace retreats of the other high end designers flocking to adding themselves to the European (London, Paris) fashion week schedule, showed last night here in New York City!

As usual the multi talented A+ List designer, showed an enviable collection very suitable for the fall/winter collection, that it is being showcased for and ended with a plethora of gorgeous men in lovely riche boxers.

I loved the cross between a velvet revolution late 70s early 80s rocker with the textural play between silks and furs (on bombers, trousers, etc) along with a  pattern play interposed with animal prints galore against a neutral winter block safety background of whites, blacks, greys!

Tom can never do wrong. Always a smart collection, some may call it safe but I call it viable, smart, knows his crowd, and the addition of print and suit styling and suit structures goes a long way! The luxurious enveloping bomber jackets against a black backdrop with a suitable severe sunglasses! The quintessential late 70s, touch of 80s, and 90s club look with a modern take. I love a look that can be modern but take any element of any decade and rework it. Thats artful.

Congrats Tom! I see loads of these pieces on some celebs hitting the red carpets for movie premieres, tv appearances, and on the movies themselves!
