Beautiful Beauty Essentials

Besides all of the L'Occitane and different beauty and body available products, people should get to know Jo Malone! London based brand with apothecary luxurious products. Such products are: Lotions, Perfumes, Diffusers, Vitamin E Body Scrubs, and Luxury Candles!

Basically all items help with a great pampering experience, that way from the bath time to running to grab a bus, train, or get to work vibes, you can have that pampering spa experience at any moment!
Such an avid fan of Jo Malone, I got my new scent 'Peony and Blush Suede". It is so enveloping and floral with subtlety. It's not greasy, moisturizing, scent modest, and rich in texture!

Next, more moisturizing and now scrubbing! If you are a fan of the Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb perfumes, then the body creme and body scrub is no different. The same gorgeous scent is in each, although the scrub also smells like a bit of wine is in it, but it must be how they try to preserve it.

All great for keeping your body, dead-skin less and moisturized. Spa pampering can be at home again y'all!

Just In: Gucci Kingsnake Flats from #Nordstrom

All the Gucci I have is vintage earlier 2000s items really, 2 loafers and 2 bags.  When Alessandro Michele took over back in January 2015 after Frida's leave, I thought Gucci would either sink or swim, under another creative accessories designer that was promoted up to the Creative Director head honcho role.

I gotta say this new revamp of Gucci, revives such life into a brand that has been at a stand still since 2011. The social media presence is on and definitely a help. They have a luxurious, bookworm, cosmo girl, funky fun with heritage designs on the clothing and accessories alike.

As this is my own piece of the new Gucci, I was quite impressed and happy!

The New Kingsnake Flats, I got them on sale for $200, down from $700 via Nordstrom. Love my nordies!!

Such a fun new take on Gucci and I want more of it!

Fab Four: Top Picks from Upcoming Erdem for H&M Collab!

Time is upon us! Erdem for HM is coming out next week on November 2. I am sure you folks, like myself, have our calendars, kitchen timer, and phone timers set for the release.

As per usual, make sure you follow Racked, Glamour Mag, and HM for updates on time release, where to shop, and whats covetable.

For me these are the core four, the fab four I need in my life:

There is something about the lace chiffon and tie neck that is so modern romantic victorian. The sneakers and blazer are so prim and yet fun. I believe these four can get you far in any other piece.

Price points are higher but not as expensive as Lanvin for HM was. The blouses are like $129, the blazer around the same and shoes around the same. I cant wait to see the quality in person to truly make an informed purchase.

Or frantically order a blouse in my size before even stepping foot in the store.

Thoughts on the success of this collab?

Welcome to New York - Calvin Klein 205W39NYC

Its waiting for you~ Imagine that playing as you look for the old Calvin Klein goodness with sleek power suits with luxury tailoring and a streamlined modern refined silhouette that Francisco Costa perpetuated.

Not anymore! With Raf Simons at the helm, he made a splash with the luxury line of Calvin Klein called Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, which is aptly named after the CK's own Manhattan Fashion District Headquarters!
Photo: Barneys// @Barneys: Floral Silk-Wool Jacquard Foldover Top
With Costa out and Simons in, we are seeing the luxury modern refinement that CK is known for, with taking business casual bests and putting a true raf twist on it. Deconstructing the business individual to show there is another layer to them, a playful one at that. At least thats how I read into this new collection!
Photo: Barneys // @Barneys: Contrast-Sleeve Wool-Blend Sweater
You will notice that magic with all of the sweaters, coats, and blouses in this collection.

I have to admit at first I was a skeptic but this looks to be an interesting shift in the CK history and hoping a refreshing continuous revival that it so needs, CK Collection and not the CK Contemporary pieces that are in our department stores, those are a hot go to selling point for many of us working folks.

Gams into Fall: Stuart Weitzman Leather Lowland Over the Knee Boot - Two Ways

My new babies, loving the next level over the knee trend, forget the trust riding boots or moto boots being worn nearly everyday, these for the last 3 years have been a trendy piece but slowly has been manuvering into being a staple in any wardrobe!

I love how second-skin they feel, how they fit! These have to have its own boot box, stalks and shaper to keep them great and leather conditioner! Care for your boots and see them last for a while.

Here at Neiman, for $875, well worth the splurge with its gorgeous 1" heel!

Here is one way to wear it! Casually with a pair of black skinny denim and a tee for a ride out!

Add a military parka duffle coat, and its like all you have on are your boots, elongating the legs!

Bonus is if your denim is ripped, giving it a chic city downtown girl vibe, downtown below 23rd st in NYC that is. Specific enough lol.

Add in a casual wardrobe staple like the LV speedy and it can become a shopping, getting grocerys, running out to hang with friends and go see a movie lewk!

Second way:

If you want a more trendy, eclectic look, add in a patchwork jacket and utility style mini leather bag or crossbody!

My crossbody is the Phillip Lim 'Wednesday' Cosmetic Crossbody Bag. Not sold in stores anymore but can be found in various places like Ebay, The Real Real, Fashionphile, Lyst, etc.

These boots can be worn with dresses or skirts but have not explored that avenue yet! These are so versatile.

Beeh's On the Radar: Margaux NYC Flats!

I always love supporting a local NY brand because its not only important but a great way to have unique items centric to where you are from or under the radar items that isnt so saturated in the fashion market, that you feel a bit more special than the basic "Jane Davenport from Lenox Hill."

I discovered Margaux NYC through a friend who has only one pair from the brand and says they are so comfortable for work and mold to her feet and its local but european made. I honestly couldnt believe it. Last cult classic brand this was reminiscent of was Tieks to me! So I had to check it out!

Looking into getting my own pair! Would be awesome!

The Classic, $185 or Custom Made to Measure $275. Italian suede with thin foam layer and comfort fit padding leather inner, that will mold to your feet within 2-3 weeks of wear.

Demi Flats in Saddle color, $125. Nappa Leather with a supportive innersole with thin padding comfort.

Organizing: I am a Container Store Girl and becoming an Acrylic Makeup Organizer Queen

Top: Large Acrylic Makeup Organizer, $29.99
Bottom: Luxe Acrylic Large Modular Drawer, $29.99

Saw all of the beauty organization pins and instagrams from other lovely ladies that inspired me to finally get organized with my goodies. I will admit I saw that Kardashian episode where they had their own organizer for makeup on the counter.

Now it has become such a beauty organizing staple.

I have a two piece stacking set so far, I figure every two weeks until I have a total of 4 drawers and 2 modular attachments for the drawers that I will have configured my own!

This is what I have so far, when I have the others I will organize my organizer even more. Say that 4 times fast.

So far, I have put my birchbox beauty samples and my tiny rollerball or sample perfume vials in the lipstick holder slots because I dont wear stick lipstick at all.

The best ones after scouting for 3 months are these large enough ones by The Container Store, my favorite place ever.

Home Fondness: Good Vibes, Good Scents

Being in love with being home or wanting to spend time at home, you have to create the right atmosphere! Not only furniture does that but a good fragrance for the home creates that "AHHH RELAXATION" mood, that a good drink would but this is a healthier option, I promise!

What I trust and believe in is a good mister and candle! These are my current favorites.

This candle was hard to find by Woodland Grove. Its a sweet woodsy vanilla bean scent. Great way to relax and smell sweets without necessarily eating it. Haha.

Then from Williams Sonoma, the wonderland of home goods, is the Room Sprays infused with essential oils! My personal favorite scent is the 'Fleur De Sel'. It has verbena , juniper, lily and rose. I feel like I am in a garden retreat drinking tea and lunching with the ladies. Being a lady who lunches, thats a dream!

Next but definitely not last, is by Bath & Body Works from their White Barn Upper Echleon section is the beautiful day scent! So clean, so beautiful and makes the room feel cooler and smelling great!

Not only can you have an at home spa day with these but make a stale home smell really fresh, a trip to the Catskills or Poconos or the botanic garden without the cost~

Beauty from Within and Out!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder is a statement always made. It is subjectively and objectively true, when the beholder looks to themselves. They have inner beauty in regards to the soul or on the cellular level of what is consumed to achieve that glowing benefit. Outer beauty in terms of protects they take in hopes of achieving how they feel inside, so it supports how they want to look to the world.

A few on the radar supplements and beauty support products have surfaced at Sephora to my surprise! Here is the list of what I think is really cool out there right now. I have to admire Sephora's business model that changes according to the trends, to now offer beauty supplements in addition to the endless troves of makeup, haircare, and skin care products to be a leader without breaking antitrust laws to supply all spectrums of beauty.

Fun on the Rooftop x Refinery Hotel

As the summer heats up, native New Yorkers and our tourists alike find new places to stay cool, stay hydrated and always be seen. With space few and far in the city, the only way to thrive is up. Instead of trying out a new ground floor restaurant or basement nook restaurant in West Village or down in Two Bridge, I figured with my friend and I, lets go to a rooftop place!

After our delight of spending some valuable time browsing Kinokuniya across from Bryant Park, I figured lets try Refinery Rooftop, as its nearby and I heard great things about the splendor of its views, the amazing drink menu, and to die for food!

But of course past this food fair on 41st, i felt like I am back in Coney Island for a minute.

All in all it was a good experience, go try the margherita flatbread with a glass of rose with soda~ It was awesome, it was a little bit packed, decibal level at soaking up each other's awesomeness by talking level, maximum amounts of sunglasses, and lots of people there for the atmosphere, ourselves included, spent about 1.5 hours there comfortably, just eating, drinking, and talking. Prices arent bad, drinks a little bit moderately expensive but that is just manhattan pricing in general, nothing out of left field.

These Shoes Were Mading for Quirking: Stubbs & Wootton

For many years,  I have followed Stubbs and Wootton, since their original digs in Palm Beach, FL took root and then good-spawned taking root in my native New York, where socialities, celebutants, and reg folks like us adorn the brand!

Enunciating followed, not necessarily a multi-pair maven of SW, the only pair I had was a pair of flamingo mules but now I want two or three pairs of the slipper flats, one in a cheeky letterman, or the pattern play, or tongue in cheek innuendo.

These 4 are the top on my list. Of course my #1 would be the Screw U (I mean its mood goals) and the "C" varsity lettering representing Columbia University, it was my almost alma mater and my good friend is an alumni, so Ill rep what coulda been and what was in support!

(Images via Stubbs website)

I mean these are a great addition to any outfit, whether or not, you need your cute slippers to make a stationery run to Papyrus, grabbing a kombucha tea from the local deli, or running to Bergdorfs at lunch to check out the 5F selections.

The possibilities are endless and I love a good pair of shoes. These are quirking it for me and I love it.

Music Saturday: YT Chill Mixes

Loving these mixes that I found over at Youtube, some of it is live radio and others pre-mixed for an hour worth of goodness!

Vibes music, purely!!

Great music to lay out in the hot sun with, to study with, chill in the park, play a party, or just your workout easy listening and everyday soundtrack to your life.

I really should check their tour dates and hope they come here soon~

A Break from Study: The Butcher's Daughter Adventure

The thing with law school life is its easy to forget a bit of yourself, while trying to mold yourself into who the profession wants to help you to be and who you are becoming. Thats why I am restarting my me time, getting out to my excursions and new haunts to explore more of this every changing city! All the while meeting new people and meeting a new version of myself!

With two finals down during finals week and 2 more finals to go, a girl needs a new atmosphere and new treats!

But yes, today's #Views was definitely glass apothecary natural juicing and simplicity in plant aesthetics with Vegetarian Goodness at The Butcher's Daughter. Located down by Elizabeth Street and Kenmare, where everything is building up (Yes the burgeoning NY Downtown scene is coming alive again)

I had the Butternut Squash Quinoa Salad (not pictured) and one of the Heritage Juices, the Honey Bee! I just love the atmosphere and set up!

And my lovely friend I went with had the Pure Passion Mimosa!
The music playlist there was kick ass, nearly everything indie and pop which is what my playlist is comprised of!
Overall 5/5, would go back!
Then we proceeded to go to Variazoni, a lovely little Prince St store before you hit Broadway! Nice italian silk clothing! Will do a full post on them with photos!~

The ride home I had Baked by Melissa Minis! (I remember when I wanted to work there as an associate where I can bake and serve them all day long, and serve some to myself to eat, I wonder how my paycheck would look!)
Back to my exams~!
