Jewelry: Antiquery in Filigree

I am just so in love with jewelry these days, many a times I spend on Gem Network, Bergdorfs, Tiffanys, and JTV studying the different pieces that I would wanna wear.

Emerald and Pearl filigree pendant I just got is so gorgeous, reminds me of an estate piece.
This girl who is so into the other part of accessories is starting to ascend into jewelry, can you believe it?!

#NYFW FW 2017 - Day 1 & 2 - Lowkey Affair

A lot of designers have elected to host smaller functions like presentations or send out lookbooks, forgoing the theatrical shows and using in budget productions to showcase the high points of each piece instilled in a photograph.

One of those designers was Rag &Bone, who went with celebrity fans, hollywood legends, models, and bloggers alike who are fans of the brand to represent small points of the continuing Rag&Bone aesthetic of solid separates worn in a cozy trendy way.

I am a huge fan of Rag&Bone Jackets in general, so this is solid!

Tadashi Shoji showed a Parisian romanticist inspired collection, usually one for the love of jewel tones, went floral and brocade this season backdropped against black. Shying out of the usual glam gowns, I love the touch of 90s glamour with a fur stole and textural play.

Next is the long awaited Raf Simons backed Calvin Klein Collection for FW 2017, ever since his leave from Dior as Creative Director to Creative Director of Calvin Klein Collection.

It is a far leave from the minimalist dream and vision that has dominated Calvin Klein Collection with suiting loves in black and white. This was an ode to Americana, a dare I say Gucci and Helmut Lang meets Lacoste dream it gave off.  But you can see Raf's vision clearly and I gotta say this was one of the best CK shows in years. This collection oozed cohesive Raf past and NY Fashion past with the present state. Thought this collection left out the NY cool I believe...

Craving: Raw Edge Loving by Damir Doma

I am loving the raw edge, asymmetric cuts that shows the craftsmanship aesthetics that dominate designer's inspiration and how they present clothing that is just innovate and smart.

Looking through Oak NYC's, whom I love, selection, I came across Damir Doma, reminds me of the Dries Van Noten, Transit Par Such meets Rick Owens style.

Love the raw heming and easygoing nature of it. Can wear it with many different styles of outfits.

Beauty Slay: Favorites in Hair Care! Achieving that Polish.

I love a good polished look one day and the next is a sort of natural-effortless style. These products definitely are my favorites, they help to achieve the looks I go for plus I would go as far as calling them my holy grail hair care necessities.

  1. Verb Ghost Oil, at Sephora for $14. Good for shine and frizz, which is my main and only use for it. While those who color their hair, it helps to retain color too, as an added bonus!
  2. Moroccanoil Treatment Oil, at Nordstrom varying sizes and prices for $15-44. With this one, great to put in your hair after washing before you set and dry! A little bit goes a long way, so it will last for a while. Smells great and really makes your hair coated and silky. Weightless.
  3. Shiseido Tsubaki Extra Moist Shampoo and Conditioner Set, at Amazon for $27. Shiseido has been a japanese beauty staple for years and commanding beauty industry giant in the line of Japanese Beauty, Asian Beauty Markets. Always loved the Tsubaki line and more recently the Oil LTD set. The Camellia Oil helps with frizzing, and keeps it weightless and silky! You can buy this off Ebay or any retailer online like YesStyle.
  4. UNA Intensive Protein Treatment, at Amazon for $39, largest 1000ml size. This leave in conditioner mask is great, 15-20 minutes and some low heat and your hair is strengthened and protected!
  5. Oribe Foundation Mist, at Nordstrom for $27. I love how this spray provides thermal protection from heat styling products and promotes anti-frizz. High level of protein in this mixture that protects every strand and promotes smoothness as a setter if you would like before going under the dryer or when using a blow dryer!

Do you guys use some of these as well? I say if not, give them a try! Helps with polish, shine, strength, frizz, and silkiness.
