Burberry Makes The Cutest Accessory of All Time!

We all can see that accessories are really making the outfits happen and have people shook! Well, the ongoing trend is bag charms and this one I definitely have been doing for a really long time before it became the "IN" thing to do. (I am telling you, next to my love of Military Jackets and Bag Charms, just what is next that I have already done, but I digress....)

We see the popularity with Fendi Bag "Bugs", Prada Bears, MCM monogram teddies, Furry Raccoon Fur Charms, and Louis Vuitton Handle Charms, but now Burberry once again, has stepped up their game!

Their Thomas Bear Collection has featurettes in many different colors and variations. They have the Punk Thomas Bear, English Guard Thomas Bear, Backpack Thomas Bear, Sweater Thomas Bear, Studded Thomas Bear, and Trench Coat Thomas Bear.

I do have my Sock Monkey I clip on and walk with everyday but stepping up my game, this baby spoke to me.

Featuring: The Thomas Bear in Checked Cashmere in Parade Red Color!
They play so nicely together!

I am so getting more!

New Bag Alert: Sugar, Sugar..Oh PS1 Mini, Mini

I bet it's pretty inherent that my obsession and love for all things Proenza is pretty evident! Aside from my PS1 Mediums and Large, I find myself drifting to other sizes and shapes. Like I am loving the tiny and minis now!
Low and behold, the latest ware to my threads, the PS1 Mini in either Veruca or Eggplant, I gotta reference my Proenza Seasonal Color Wheel via my ladies at the PurseForum.
But I really enjoy the smaller size, great for running, errands, shopping, going out, and an overall gorgeous colorful leather piece that's an easy crossbody. You would think mini means small, we'll here it holds alot more one can think.

Craftsmanship: Artisanal Pieces with Miansai

I am so used to the cute pyramid closure bracelet cuffs from Vita Fede, the Cartier Love Screw Bracelets, Cartier Juste Un Clous, and Hermes hooks and such. But lately, there has been a rise in such fine and stunning craftmanship in terms of new types of jewelry and new ways to wear old things, that I fell in love with Miansai pieces!

They have everything, men and women, earrings, necklaces, cuffs, etc! I just love new artisanal pieces that would be great.

They have gold and silver. Gold plating but some that are 10 kt real gold. The four above are my favs.

(In Clockwise Order)

The Modern Screw Cuff Bracelet, in Gold, here at Miansai.com. I bought one for myself, which Ill showcase at another time or next post.

Hook on Indigo Rope Bracelet, in Gold, here at Miansai.com. I love the idea of wearing an anchor rope and hoo on your wrist. Can tie down yourself.

Half Scuff Screw Necklace, in Gold, here at Miansai.com. I love the idea of the original bracelet cuff into a necklace. Its like the new bar or turned down pendant. (But FUNNER - Elle Woods reference)

Screw Bar Chain Earrings, Gold Vermeil, here at Miansai.com. Cool earrings indeed, a nice shift from my fun character danglers from Betsey Johnson to these modern simplicity ones.

Cheeky and Oversized: By Danielle Guizio

Discovered Danielle Guizio's uber cool stuff through a friend of mine and I gotta say, I like how simple it is yet it is just #mood goals.

Like I love this Sortez Oversized Sweatshirt. Buying one next week. Its like Vetements & Brian Lichtenberg humor but even better. The phrase is something I would definitely say, better yet let me wear it on my clothing so I can avoid speaking to people that are annoying me (LOL me).

Fall into Autumn: The Beauty Favs

Although some of these glam picks maybe in your arsenal already, I want to reiterate again how necessary these babies are into any girl's situation in her cabinet and carry case.

#1 - Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion, here for $29 at Kiehls.com.
The texture of it goes on smoothly, the white clay especially helps to minimize pores and its good on combination skin. Beeh Tip: Get the Leave on Clay Mask to match, so so good! Tightening effect is amazing and leaves skin clean along with this bad gyal.

#2 - Glossier Face Highlighter Haloscope in Topaz, here for $22 at Glossier.com. Comes in two shades, Topaz and Quartz.
Features a smooth assimilation of textures with a solid neutral colored core that is vitamin rich in moisturizers for the skin and the colors on the sides have a glistening effect, hence Highlighter. But I gotta say, I dont wear makeup, like foundations, concealers, none of that. But I do love my eyeshadows and mascara sometimes, but I gotta say, some days I just wash my face, put on my essence, ceramide, moisturizers, and dab this at my cheek bones, and I look carefree for the rest of the day. Subtle glow and class just like that.

#3 - Glamglow SuperCleanse Daily Clearing Moisturizer, here for $14 at Sephora.com. Also comes in the larger 5oz size for $39.
I love the technology behind this bad gyal, you notice the change from mud into a foamy texture, it definitely leaves your face squeaky clean at night ready for bed. Good for sensitive and normal skin types.

#4 - NARS Monoi Body Glow II, here for $59 at Sephora.com.
This one in the right dry spots and on your arms, give you a subtle summer glow. From Coconut Monoi Oil, the sweet smell and way it goes on. Not greasy at all. Beeh Tip: It smells like summer too, add this on top of your perfume and bam!

Discover: Mr & Mrs Italy Fur Lined Coats

I ran across a picture of Cara Delevingne wearing this uber cool parka with fur lining and I am saying to myself, omg that is so cool! From there I discovered the Mr and Mrs Italy brand. Then again, I saw another photo of Chiara Ferragni in one in such a cute hot pink hood color. So I went onto the site and naturally my loving of militia stylee parkas made me curious.

I love how there is various jacket shapes and a plethora of sizing from XS to XXL, I love the representation in sizing.
They are a bit expensive, but I would love to own one! Just one of these days, would be my favorite new coat.

When you reach the site and pick a specific style, you can customize your coat to exactly how you want it to look by fur colors and shape.

That Vogue Article - Bloggers v. Mag Editors

I never thought we would see some Vogue contributors like the Fashion News Editor Alessandra Codinha and Sarah Mower, during a Vogue Spring 2017 fashion rundown, blatantly discuss bloggers. This has been a long running topic for quite some time and now that conversation has gone into overdrive.

Here is a link to it: Vogue's Milan Editors Spring 2017 Chat

I mean I understand the pandemonium of shows being bombarded and people doing many things for attention, which yes it is moot point that makes the shows more highly trafficked and photo ops looking ridiculous. But I thought the idea is dress to impress, with what you want to wear based on your confidence and gorgeous gams, and see the shows. See and Be Seen. I have seen this with both editors and bloggers, both getting things to wear or sometimes wearing the same Eye popping, eye catching things that street style photographers tend to notice. And sometimes these street style photographers are hired by said magazines to collect the most fashion-worthy outfits.

Hence the NY Mag, W, Vogue, Racked and NYT Fashion sections about who wore what at these shows. To go as far as saying editors are synonymous with the bloggers, not all, I cannot generalize, but there are certain facets of the job that do intersect. Both get paid for reviews (sometimes), paid to attend events, shows, get allowances for clothing, and freebies.

I cannot contend that bloggers are not of value anymore, some again, moot don't really add anything as they are walking billboards that I do so agree but not all of them fall under that generalization. But you have bloggers, like myself, that genuinely discuss pop culture, fashion in said pop culture, try to emulate our interpretation of it (like case laws from established statutes), and we can reach a younger demographic sometimes besides the traditional 25+ buying the magazine since the 1980s.

It is the fact that the business model of magazine publication and new media has evolved to the point that both can tend to have the same effect. We see newspapers and magazines, now have online content and bloggers also have online as well. Hell, we have even seen bloggers who are amazing writers get hired for site editing at publications and solely online publications (ala Refinery, Fashionista, and Racked) kudos to them. But to eliminate or bash either side of the media, I think they can co-exist and should.

Co-existence like our state courts vs the Supreme Court. There is a balance of powers adjudicated to each.  These are my thoughts, I both concur and dissent on certain points.

P.S.- Lets not forget when Vogue was loving the old school bloggers on the scene since 2007 and gave love with a huge article that gave away to the greats like Bryanboy, Tommy Ton and Hanneli Mustaparta, on their March 2010 Power Issue: Style Bloggers!
