Beeh Loot: Asian Beauty Products

So I have been fully immersed in the Asian Beauty x Western Product combos for my skin and I gotta say its working for me. I used to only buy the sheet masks, mind you Ive been buying them for 2 years while using my western products like Biore, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Kiehl's, and others. But then I realized the change of the real estate market near me and the rise of Asian Beauty shops asides from retailers that sell only Missha, Shiseido, and Kose, that there was a whole new movement happening.

I started to try other products and really started to add the necessary steps to my routine, like essence, ampoules, treatment, and exfoliation, and good things started to happen to my skin. It is smoother, more moisturized, and I have less breakouts especially around the chin area. Not to mention, it looks brighter and I dont look too baby-ish or 10 years older than I am.

Some of the brands I have fallen in love with are: The Face Shop, Tony Moly, Cosrx, Mizon, Mediheal, Etude House, Skinfood, Nuessence, and etc.

Here is another look at the NYC Haul I did and what I got!

A facial scrub brush. The bristles are gentle and great for your own speed, power, and circular motion. Etude House Pomegranate, these are so nice for the redness and energizing my tired skin.
And my favorite shampoo and conditioner, Tsubaki by Shiseido. The Camellia Oil in it is a lifesaver.

More sheets masks, 3 pack from innisfree in tea tree, great for acne blemish and redness. And a nice cute OHUI Extreme white serum sample!

The samples of korean beauty are so covetable, you dont know. xD

Got a MasCream in hydration from TheFace Shop. Tony Moly Im Real Avocado sample. Tony Moly Floria whitening mask sheet, which makes your face looks more luminous and brighter, evening out your skin tone. Lululun Hydrating 7 day Brightening Sheet Pack.

There is still more I gotta try but these are amazing so far.

Ive Tried It: Glossier Balm dotcom

Learning about the beauty tips and invading their cabinets for Into The Gloss, and now Emily Weiss and team came up with the Glossier skincare line of products, that have such a fun cool vibe, natural & healthy ingredients, clean cut presentation, and a great social media interaction. I remember reading about the venture capitalist backing it received, so naturally my interest piqued.

The packaging is super cute, with the bubble wrap blush and hot pink packaging ziploc bag with stickers! And a little guide on what product offerings they have and when to use it in your skincare routine, or simply a suggestion on how to!

It was one of their new coconut products, so I just had to enter their referral contest and got this baby courtesy of Glossier :)

I love the balm dotcom, its so evenly and cleanly scented. Its not greasy by any means and its great as a lip balm, cuticle balm, or overall and anywhere rough patch soother.

I am honestly a fan now and cant wait to try the Mega Greens Pack and the Soothing Facial Mist. :)

Space NK Apothecary: A little bit of Mio and Diptyque

After I had a job interview, I went to Space NK, since I havent been in months, to check out their brick and mortar store, instead of the one located in Bloomingdales. Plus I went to replenish my Diptyque Tubereuse candle, since that is my favorite one!

Lets say, I ended up leaving refreshed with more than just 1 candle.

The Soho location here in NYC, has such lovely sales associates, some and not all. Thanks to, whom I believe was the manager, that helped with my purchases and offered such lovely gifts with my candle purchase. The mini perfume vials of different Diptyque flavors and a mini candle of CHOISYA, which I am completely sold on and would buy the 190g of.
\

And course, the mini hand and arm massage and treatment from Ms. Noble of the mio skincare company. I had to buy the gym kit because I avidly workout and go to the gym and these are really essential. The workout wonder is a nice relaxing muscle recovery gel, great for spots that feel sore and tired post lactic acid build up. And the Cleanse mint wipes that are great for refreshness until you reach home and can shower!

When I got home, I did order The Activist body oil because it felt so nice to use a non-greasy oil for my dry skin that has omegas and is good for you!

Overall, I had a great experience and could see myself discovering more and more new things to try.
