Today's Wear

Today's Wear

This is what I wore today, I'll probably either do poly sets or try to take the photo at the same moment that I do wear my looks.

I figured snow cant stop me for this one. I wanted graphic but yet subdued with stylishly polished accessories

Coat: Coach
Jeans: Gap1969
Sweater: Isabel Marant x HM
Sneakers: Yellow Version of Nike x Liberty London
Bracelet: Hermes
Watch: Darker Version of this Classic Michael Kors square face
Ring: Spiked by PixieMarket
Bag: Alexander Wang Angela Pochette

Ultimately, I like mixing prints or accessories with a simple pair of jeans. Yes, I am a member of the all Black Clothing fandom but no, not all the time.

Ad Campaign Season: Miu Miu and Marc Jacobs

Two of the well done ad campaigns this season in addition to the Alberta Ferretti campaign as shown before.

Miley Cyrus for Marc Jacobs
--As Shot by David Sims-- (Juergen Teller passed on this shoot)

The way the Spring Summer runway show went down is the same way this ad campaign was translated. I love the overall dark theme or grunge style of helplessness or selflessness, which of course Marc is really good at. From glam to grungey opulence, Marc Jacobs can do it all.

To see how the jacket translates onto a girl and not just a model, I like the fit and of it, definitely want this. Unfortunately, I will have to DIY because I hear this jacket costs $6,000.

And on the other spectrum....

Elizabeth Olsen for Miu Miu. And Elle Fanning for Miu Miu.

Both girls showcased the Miu Miu aesthetic of being fun, fashionable, and chic. Elle's ad has more a mod rocker pin up girl while Elizabeth's hair feels very 60s mod to me.

Thank god, not all of the ads are boring.

Music Thursday: Bell X1

Do I have any other "The O.C." fans out there? If you are really good, tell me what season this song is from and what moment it happened!

For all others, one of my favorite songs im sharing with you today. The sound and harmonizing of the group is that rustic perfection.

Blues and Chanel

Today's Look:

Coat: Coach
Sweater: Uniqlo
Tee: Reebok
Jeans: Gap 1969
Bag: Chanel
Shoes: Converse

I love the warmth of this look, very casual and down to earth. I love my sneakers and fleece. Don it up with a fab bag and nicely contoured jacket, your good to go.

And of course my shambala bracelet. I just love the beaded rhinestone work on it. Got it for only $5 from ebay a year ago. They have different colours, but I feel like black can work with any look.

Runway Love : Louis Vuitton AW '14 Men

I am sure by now that everyone has seen the Louis Vuitton show for Men. By far, this is one of the best Menswear shows that I have seen photographs of this season. I love the patterning and crisp fits for men, this will definitely be a popular line coming up.

In actuality, this is my favorite look from the collection. But couldn't that coat be unisex because I really love it for myself.

Courtesy: Design Scene/ Louis Vuitton
I love the various stripes on the coats as seen through the show.

Plus doesn't the set design feel like some technicolor art piece and the models are the subjects in the painting. Quite interesting, when you look at the focus and perspective of it all.

Searching: Pinkyotto Sound Waves Sweater

This sweater was a couple of seasons ago but its still so perfect. I love geometric sweatshirts as these.
This specific one I saw in People Stylewatch and low and behold later on, Kristen Stewart is wearing it. Love how its styled on her, nice white blouse underneath and a single strand long necklace.
Also that long hair dont care vibe.

Its by Pinkyotto. Called the Sound Waves sweater.

Still trying to search for one. If you see any, let me know!
Haha, I guess you could call this a wanted post!

Christmas Belated: Jam Fusion HMDX Headphones

Low and behold, I received a belated christmas gift from the fam, a bluetooth enabled Jam Fusion HMDX Wireless Stereo Headphones. This exact color too because I love purple.

The price point on these are only $99, which is very reasonable and the idea of wireless music listening, speakerphone, and phone wireless adaptability is great. They come with a reusable container which in itself is incredible. You get a little carry pouch as they are foldable.

Not only can they answer and end calls but in terms of music, you can adjust volume and change tracks from your music player on these themselves.

They last about 3-6 hrs when you charge them up.

Great concept and I am enjoying them as I just got them Wednesday!

Whats Designer at H&M Online

There have been some really good pieces for winter and spring/summer transitioning that is present at H and M online right now. Couple of tops that look and are good quality. Some basics and some patterns that are very expensive looking.

H&M SET

1. Knit Sweater, comes in different colors but I find the aquamarine looking blue to be the most comforting, not the mention the slouchy pocket. Here on sale for $12.95.

2. Melange Coat, gorgeous tweedy melange style and boxy cut. Reminds me of a cross between Isabel Marant and Chanel. I like how its lined and single buttoned. Plus the lapels of it are the right size for a boyfriend meets girlfriend look. Here for $59.95.

3. Top in Woven Fabric, I am a sucker for striped looks and if this doesn't say "I am not in jail but I am more stylish than you", I do not know what does. It looks well structured and the material is easy on the skin. Here for $34.95.

4. Cushion Cover, I love a good pop art and comic strip. Why not have it in a pillowcase. Here for $9.95.

5. Denim Shirt, the various studs on the bottom of the collar and chest area in contrast with the hue of the shirt, gives a rocker glam vibe. Here for $34.95.

6. Linen Top, reminds me of the Burberry hearts and shapes collection that Christopher Bailey did, as a fun young take on a classic brand collection. Not only is linen great material to feel breezy in but the neck line on this is cut beautifully. Here for $24.95

7. Sweatshirt, this is one of the most beautiful sweaters they have done, a cross between Rag & Bone and Chanel, not only tweedy but sweat-top style, can pair for interviews dressing it up or down with denim and a parka. Here for $49.95.

8. Chiffon Blouse, I actually own this top, the top feels cotton like and the bottom is a chiffon nice style blouse. Combo top that reminds me of Spring 2014 by Ralph Lauren and his take on the florals. Here for $14.95.

9. Duvet Cover Set, love this duvet cover set, nice white color with a painted on girl. Great if you want something simple yet fun and artistic for your bed. Here for $34.95.

10. Wool Hat, I love a good rolled brim hat in wool, can go with any look. I can try laid back mod or Parisian sunday alla Isabel Marant. Here for $12.95.

11. Sweatshirt, I find this to be a homage to Versace, the bright color and patterning can mix for any added fun to any look. Here for $49.95.

12. Sweatpants, I love the tapered leg and zips around the knees, such a unique take on a classic sporty pant. Here for $34.95.

13. Short Necklace, the gold color and rows of different shapes is so well done on this necklace, looks like something from J.Crew. Great for work or special functions. Here for $17.95.

14. Quilt Sneakers, for the leather quilt fans, we can keep it subdued with it on our feet, with all of the modern minimalist looks but still get our quilt fix. Here for $29.95.

Beeh's Week: From Pasta to Brian Atwood

Couple of my favorite pictures from last week:

Had this gorgeous Vanilla Leche Desertcake from Noodle Bar & Company.

After having that cake, went into Off Saks Fifth Avenue where they have some gorgeous pieces for the fall and previous seasons. This Prada baby was right on one of the display tables for $650. Not a bad price plus the jewels on it are perfect. These jewels I definitely want to put on a collar of my wool coat, which might be my first DIY project to execute.

Edited picture from a past season NYFW Skingraft S/S '14 Show. The model's matted wet hair is perfect with this pure white outfit, which the collection is like its namesake. Down to the grit and bones of tops, dresses, and flowing silhouettes for men and women.

From Off Saks, this gorgeous jeweled roundabout collar jacket from Elie Tahari. Tried it on and loved it, purchased it. Was only $100 marked down from $350+. I love how I can wear it with a bit of a rock influence and yet glam for a party or event with wide leg slinky trousers. Then a nice bold colored clutch in velvet.

Also spotted, were these Brian Atwood, Horsehair, gum drop back heel platforms. I know that I definitely cannot walk in these but they are so pretty to fawn over. I see Nicki Minaj wearing these for sure to an award event or in a video!

And of course before that Vanilla dessert, was this Penne Pasta al fresco. Has some mushrooms, parmesan cheese, spinach, tomato cuts, and spices! One of the best pasta noodles places is Noodle Bar & Company.

Have a good weekend all~

Getting to Work: Ralph Style

Taking a look back at the Spring 2014 Ralph Lauren Collection, I found crisp solid monochrome looks and mixed patterning of florals and houndstooth to be fresh for Spring. And I reveal to you guys, my two favorite looks:

I just love the mixed texture and monochrome color scheme on the all white/ bone look. The flouncy skirt, the moto style short jacket, and crisp Ralph Lauren classic blouse. Not to mention, the smart idea of all that mixed media with a simplified set of heels.

And on the second look, the plaid hounds long jacket, inner floral shirt, which H&M has made an inspired look of and I own, and the black silhouette pants.

I have to admit the second look with the mixed printing, I immediately thought of to wear going to work, to my future law office, or to a job interview. I think it not only shows you have a great sense of style but you take yourself seriously enough not to only dress in drab black. You still show respect for the color black but that you also have a personality.

With that being said, who do you think would look great in these looks? Celebrity, Personality, etc.

For the all white look, I could see Shay Mitchell or a Kate Bosworth type.
For the all black mixed print look, I could see an Anne Hathaway or Rachel Zoe type. Or possibly a european royal doing charity work in this outfit. ^_^

What do you guys think?
