Feed x Target: Helpful Revolution

Some recent news I stumbled upon was the Feed for Target initiative and not to mention the informative and hippie stylish commercial.

The idea of one of the most influential department stores teaming together with Feed, an initiative to help combat world hunger is major. Feed USA is starting with the homeless and hungry in the United States.

For example, with a bag sold, 26 people can have meals or feel like they are left to starve while the world moves on without them.

I for one think is a progressive move for the betterment of our world and the various societies coming together to get developing countries and third world countries on the same level. We can stem this back to Peter Singer, a philosopher who presents this idea in his series of essays. Though his idea of minimal margin is quite radical but effective small sacrifices without sacrificing ourselves is a good thing.

We Used To Be Friends: The Inspiration

Inspired by the song "We Used To Be Friends" by The Dandy Warhols, who is one of my favorite bands.

The time comes in your life where you realize how you have to reevaluate what is important to you and what you value, not to mention your preferences.

It was fun making this set. A little inspiration from when I used to watch The O.C. during the episode with the Rooney Concert, California feel, and the Dandy Warhol's song in the OC.

Tory Burch Obsessed: The Robinson Double Zip Tote

I know you ladies have seen the Tory Burch Nylon bags on every girl's arm or the Amanda style of bags but have you seen the saffiano leather and stitching craftsmanship on the Robinson Collection.

Name sake after her family name the Robinson Collections presents affordable luxurious saffiano leather based bags.

One bag in particular has struck my fancy, thats the Robinson Double Zip Tote Bag.

Eyeing her since she came out I have finally gotten it.

Bloomingdales had her sitting there. So I took it!

I just love the luxurious saffiano leather, the many compartments, the lining, and the double zip style on the top. I can wear on the shoulder or as a top handle.

Tribal Summerish

I hope you guys have been enjoying the wee moments of early summer. Its hot, the italian ices are melting as I type, and my portable Brookstone fan is blasting.
