New York Fashion Week Survival Guide : What to carry!

So we are coming upon the stepping stone to New York Fashion Week and its always crazy and hectic every season.

Spring Summer 2013 is coming up and I have my own guide to things that are always helpful to have during the craziness and can keep you sane.

So these are my goodies past and present that are usually for everyday but are especially great for such a huge week of events coming up.

Good to know the time, connect to media to look at news, keep you preoccupied between shows and events, and look good in big earrings (Big in TEXAS!) Haha.

A small book to write thoughts, information or poetry in. Suave shine mist for that ultimate shine. Mascara for some extra lashes. Chanel mousse wash for an instant wash in the bathroom in the corner and to refresh!

I dont really wear alot of makeup, so in that small case I carry that fiberwig mascara and my favorite chanel and Jill Stuart Eyeshadow. The Miu Miu sunglasses for being invisible. The case to be prepared for anything. Hair Bow, well....I will be wearing probably everyday, since its so classical. And the Cole Haan sandals, a welcome relief to uncomfortable flats and heels.

Lastly, my favorite bag I obtained recently, A Cath Kidston London Tote. Great to hold everything and then some. Fun prints to go with any look.

Where in the world is Sophie Elgort now?

So its been a while but I told you guys that ever since my first two Sophie Elgort pieces might as well make it an affair to remember her brilliance and new shots she comes up with.

These are all fairly recent and showcases the magic of photography that Sophie has. The talent to capture realism, glamour, and the emotions that is sometimes lost on other people's photographs.

I would love to be photographed by her, wouldn't you? :)

Remember when they did their first sneaker collection last year? Well Suno has done it again, their downtown chic and fantastic prints in comfy slip on style. Slip on or lace up anyone?

Made in Kenya with excess collection fabrics and recycled rubber, each sneaker is a limited edition release, and is exclusive to SUNO Online. For each pair purchased, a donation of 15% of the price is made to Kenya’s Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a sanctuary for endangered elephants and rhinos. So basically its for a good cause. Why not look good and get in your philanthropic tendencies as well?

I think I would love a pair of them, which I may as well invest in because I believe this may be their last sneaker collection! So that means Limited Editions ladies and gentlemen. All are $65 currently. Just hope to get your size.

Let the goods times roll

 Enjoying the last few moments of freedom, before classes begin. I went to my favorite place the casino and won some great cash.

Then went over the vintage furniture store and saw this lovely desk for $95. Comes with the hutch pictured below it.

I am changing my generic desk and going for a french mystique one. I like it as it will match with the riviera and deco style im going for. I will update more on my progress and inspirations for my new bedroom/workspace.

Also they had this adorable Spongebob Luggage. I wanted it!

Ready for Halloween, I might be a pirate and paste a bird on my shoulder.

Then from today, went to Johnny Rockets for the first time. I loved the atmosphere and the food. Quite memorable. I mean no wonder people line up for miles to get in.

My new lamp from the same furniture vintage store, paid only $8 for this Humpty Dumpty Lamp.
And next to my new sunglasses from an Off Saks I went to.

Miu Miu Glasses in a brand new Gucci Sunglasses Case Set. Paid 30 dollars for them. Snaazzyyy.

And a new Michael Kors hat I scored for 13 bucks. :}

Review: Ive Tried It, Yasso Greek Frozen Yogurt Bars

Ventured into Whole Foods Market for the first time, I really like the atmosphere and the variety of products. I stumbled upon Yasso by watching a youtube video from Amanda Russell, of AR Fit, talking about the various ways of getting protein and ways to enjoy the high protein ladden Greek Yogurts.

I have for have tried the Oikos, Fage, and other Greek Yogurt brands, I could not enjoy or get into it. Too thick and I have the mindset during eating the yogurts, was am i eating something spoiled.

So I saw Yasso on sale 2 for $9. So I bought one box just to be sure, the Strawberry flavor.

I tried it just earlier today, it is sort of filling. They warn you to let it thaw 2-3 minutes, but I only did 1 minute. The texture is quite creamy and yet hardish like an ice cream bar. There is little sugar involved in the bar. Hardly could taste any strawberry. Every lick or bite left like a creamy mush on your tongue with no flavor.

It is okay but I would not be rushing out to Whole Foods to get it anytime soon. I know tons of people who like it, but I dont enjoy it like that. If there is nothing in the fridge, I can probably eat one.

Just what: PSY Gangnam Style

Im sure by now all of you guys have been hearing about the South Korean sensation and popular video PSY - Gangnam Style.

I find it hilarious and yet entertaining to see.



The city of Seoul, Gangnam is a district of affluence, Park (PSY) dresses well and so does everyone in the video doing an awesomely weird dance while rapping. I guess this is to mock those that are so affluent in living the extravagant lifestyle and those trying to achieve that

Still i cant help but hum "dun dun dun oppa gangnam stylleeee"

Breaking News:Avengers 2 has a DATE SET

Hey folks,

Just to let you guys know, I got word from a source that the Avengers sequel, Avengers 2, now has a movie theater release date! Sequel to the blockbuster hit that made its way into our hearts in the beginning of the summer.

Your coordination during the movie was probably challenged. When you saw hands raised, punches thrown, and movement, you probably moved alot too, maybe mimicking "a hero's power".

Anyways, back to the release date. It is slated to hit theaters....... May 1, 2015.
THATS A LONG WAY HOME.

 Lets admire this mural until 2015. About 3 years from now.

But I have faith they want it to be even better than the first, and what better way than keep the same actors and KEEP ON JOSS WHEDON for the project please. But guess what,
Joss Whedon will return confirmed Disney Reps this past Thursday.

Late News: NBA Baller Beats To Be Released...September

Majesco last month announced the full set list of songs and artists for NBA Baller Beats, the first ever full-body motion-based NBA video game that lets players use a real ball to gain real skills. Players of all skill levels  will dribble to the beat of popular and chart-topping music tracks, across various genres from artists like Kanye West, Common, Queen, Skrillex, Wiz Khalifa, Rise Against, Santigold, and many more.

NBA Baller Beats will come packaged with an official Spalding® NBA game ball replica and will make its debut exclusively on Kinect™ for Xbox 360® on September 11, 2012.

I for one see this as another innovative way to get kids and grown-ups alike off the couch to play a game, even if its raining or snowing, you can still play ball indoors to the kinect on XBOX.

Big news to all DieHard Cult Harry Potter Fans and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Fans.

Remember when Draco Malfoy cried in that boys bathroom and then came the epic Sectumsempra Spell from Harry Potter in their bathroom water everywhere battle!?!

Also Remember Zander with Tara and when that evil Callum Destroyed his eye!

Well, both Tom Felton and Nicholas Brendon are coming to NYCC this Fall to answer questions, sign autographs, and take photographs!

I am seriously excited to see them both in person, I mean this is huge.

Tom Felton is a heartthrob of both Harry Potter fame and when he was that evil ape care taker in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

And Nicholas Brendon of Buffy the Vampire Slayers as the ever smart, comedic, and reliable Xander!


This is such a great opportunity for die hard fans to come and check it out. You know I will be there for sure!

Hello Rebecca Minkoff, Its me Kaye Beeh~

So I have been busy with my fitness and conditioning, not to mention preparing for Fashion Week in September and Comic Con in October.

But I always have the time to relax and shop, even thought recently I am not into it as much. Maybe its a sign of my changed tastes.

Anyways, I went to Off Saks 5th yesterday and looked through their inventory, everything was 30% off and red marked items were 60% off. I was juggling between Spierry Top Sider Floral Sneakers, a Rebecca Minkoff iPad case, and another Rebecca Minkoff bag.

I said "SCREW IT" and got the Rebecca Minkoff Purple Boyfriend Crossbody.
The leather is gorgeous and yummy plus its my favorite color.
I paid $85.00 for it. Yes, my baby had the red tag.

Idk what it is but there is just something about Rebecca Minkoff Bags and Accessories, Im a sucker for it. I already have two other Rebecca Minkoff Bags and 2 coin pouches. God knows my collection is only going to increase!!
