Considering my hearts desire.

Recently, university has started up back again and you know the time. Fresh pieces, clean books, new class air (until a few weeks in, it gets stale), the library sessions, bottles and bottles of water, and musty old books that you gotta borrow or new ones that hurt your wallet.

Now there is University on the schedule, Fashion Week starting next week, in a month is the New York Comic Con/ Anime Festival series, some film festival showings, and of course other side events. BUSY TIME is here. and I mean here!

This will be my new headquarters for this semester for quite sometime. This will be the chill, look over things, and cram spot for sure. The high vaulted ceilings and chandeliers. This special spot of my university library is an ultra favorite yet almost empty area. *hearts*

And of course, with a borrowed Apple MacBook Pro.

I definitely see the phenomena with Apple products, god knows I have had my 2 Nanos, 1 Shuffle, and my old Video one, which I still use, but I see the whole deal with their laptops and iPads. They have such technology to them and their sleek designs make them very popular.

I also believe that the iPad and MacBook series must be graphically good to gamers and artists. Its their preferred computers, well mostly artists and business types. I know most gamers still are using their Dell Alienwares, god knows I want one of those Alienwares.

I guess im saying that Im a windows user for all my life, basically years and now I love this Apple technology. Have to get used to it though. Thinking of buying two laptops for this new University semester. I can carry either one either day or have one mostly for business and the other for pleasure.

One computer im liking is the HP for Walmart series, I missed out on the Garden Dreams set. Now they have the HP Dandelion Breeeze. For 500-600$, you get the computer that has an extremely set up with good Hard Drive Space about 500 GBs. The matching laptop case with mouse!

And of course, the other computer is the MacBook Pro. I was looking into the MacBook Airs but I consulted with a long time Apple User Buddy 'o mine and im wanting the Pro instead.

Or maybe an iPad, a little gizmo that weights a bit but more so, less to nothing in your messenger satchel.

The possibilities are endless, truly. My heart desires so much but I am getting to be more detail oriented towards certain ideas.

iPad, iPod, MacBook. Hmmm?

They are in my dreams.... Top 10 Fall Must Haves

The fall is almost around the corner, are you ready? The Top 10 fall must haves I believe every person must have.

1) Booties

I present to you, the ever beautiful Ginevra Booties by Tory Burch.
This is one of my staple pieces for the fall. Im trying to obtain it through Nordstrom Rack for a good price of $199. Not bad right? The material is a good Suedish-leather with the studding layer finished off with wooden cork bottoms. The heel is about 1-1/2 to 2 inches, nothing much to walk in.

I could easily run in them, catch butterflies with them, and strut down the subway steps without tumbling over.

For some reason, can you imagine a toggle coat with it?

2) Toggle Coats
Im going to purchase one of these for myself. This one is a Dorothy Perkins Toggle Coat (UK). I love the faux fur collar and the contrasting pulls with little fur balls on the ends. Looks very cozy.
Retails for about $150. So about 75-80 pounds in GBP.

3) The Classic Trench

Or another type of coat for the fall that is very neat is the Trench.
This is by Burberry London, I believe they do the best trenches if you have the money for it. This one retails for $1,195 at Net-a-porter

A cheaper trench for only $50 dollars is the Target Merona Trench. Im thinking of buying it in a navy and beige color. $100 dollars for both and they have rain repellent material. SCORE!

This one (the photo) is at Target online now in petites for 18 dollars. Sale time ladies. HERE.

4) Bashful Crops

The classic crop pants. Not flared or long, but just right at the ankle. They go great with booties, loafers, flats, and sneakers. Very 50s esque to me.
You can get boyfriend style, loose, skinny, or fitted style.

I love these Boyfriend Chino Crops at Banana Republic. Now on sale for $49.99 here.
You can tuck in the shirt or tuck out. Wear with a lovely floral tunic to make a statement or a flashy black shirt from Zara. Anything.

I stocked up on two pairs from H&M, A black and a beige.

5) Messenger/ Satchel Style Bags

These have been getting extremely popular, everyone has one but now the fall needs them. You need to keep tons of stuff in them, have good quality, and look good.
I love this one by Fossil, The Vintage Reissue Bag. In stores, not sure. But you can find some on ebay. From Prices ranging from $40 to $120. Originally a $128 USD bag. Not available on Fossil.com, check Ebay.
6) Jewel tone & Earthy Tone & Fur Clothing
This is what I have been seeing with many brands across their Fall 2011 collections, from Fendi to Gucci to Derek Lam.

The many shades of brown to deep red and beautiful heather greys. These are what make up fall, they are basics but can be so lux if you know how to do it well.

Here is a look from Gucci.

7) Knits and Bits of Peter Pan
From Marie Claire to the streets of Milan, im seeing people wearing cable knit sweaters, striped sweaters and tons more sweaters with a lovely peter pan collar effect to it.

Here is a look from Louis Vuitton:

And.....my favorite photo. Love this style of the Peter pan collar. Blazers go well with it too. Make sure they are a little tailored, best effect for the Peter.
Another pic, of the knits. Long sleeve or long length. Knits are super cozy and can be super neat when accessorized to your comfort.
The view from Tommy Hilfiger..

8) Statement Bracelets
These I have been seeing pop up from summer to fall and in magazines. They make the outfit more artsy and make your arms feel pretty cool. I dont know about you but whenever I wear bracelets such as cuffs or bangles, I feel empowered.
This one is from Chanel.
Called the Black Forest Cuff, Price Unknown, call boutique to find out.

And then this baby, a lesser price by Alexis Bittar.
Gunmetal Pave Hinged Horseshoe Cuff. $195 at Intermix (you can get it at IntermixOnline
9) Exotic-print Bags
They are lux, amazing, and are truly fall styles. I have my two exotic croc print messenger bags. It gives a polished finish to an outfit and that desired foreign classy look.
Rebecca Minkoff does it well. Notice my Zebra bag in the past few postings making her appearance.
This is the Rebecca Minkoff Zebra Calf Hair Rumour Crossbody, I own this one! Its $275. Get it here.
And another Rebecca Minkoff favorite of mine, which Im saving up for..is the Proposal Quilted Bag. Get it here for $295.

And lastly at..

10) Maxi Skirts

These babies have been coasting over the summer on many people, now to lose the dress for fall but take up the maxi skirts. I know you all love those maxi with the solid on the top and the see through towards the bottom. There is just something about the flowy material and freeness of it. No constrictions of pants? Go girl.

Here is the double layer see through favorite. by Robert Rodriguez. Get at Intermix, Preorder for $265 here.

And then a cheaper alternative, a jersey one. Can be folded into your weekend bag without the hassle. Splendid Jersey Maxi Skirt at $85 here at Intermix.

Well there you have it folks. Such dynamic pieces for this fall arent they? I cant wait to test and find my niche within them. Ciao!

Vogue Mexico September 2011 - Eniko Mihalik

Eniko Mihalik is just one of those classic beauties. She doesn't need the makeup yet when she has it on, its perfection and the right amount of dramatic. Dramatic like a drama show or Dior's shows by Galliano.

Another reason I love Eniko is because she takes chances in all her photos. She has quite the lookbook.

Dress by Moncler Rouge. :)
She is graces and reveres the cover of Vogue Mexico for their September Issue.
Can you say amazin?

Showtime wants "The Damned" to be on TV!

Im not sure, if you guys know about the Damned.

The Damned will focus on a cursed man named Eddie who must navigate a battle between warring Chicago gangsters who also happen to be actual demons.
The original comic was set during the Prohibition, but Deadline's story says that the series will be set in modern day.....

Now that is a problem. We already have many modern day ideas and are bring the old back, but this one should stay in the 30s era.

Now, I cant wait to see about who will play the main role. Please, someone with a little monotone and maybe lots of facial expressions. (Maybe David Boreanaz?) That would be a kick.

The impending weeks left......NYFW is almost here!

I am sure everyone is excited for the upcoming Spring 2012 New York Fashion Week to grace us with its new collections and the time to frown and fawn over new collections that we would shimmy into, show our legs for, and make our assets work.

These next few weeks, I want to incorporate these pieces here, since I did not get to wear them in the summer, a nice start to september is left overs of summer and a little touch of fall. Dont you agree?

H&M Garden Collection Floral Dress. I love this dress. I want to wear this with denim cropped jeans and a lovely long knit sweater.

These Doc Martens. :) I decide to join the reminisce Doc Marten's campaign. I will have to say these are my first pair of Docs, so why not join at this time. Dont you just love the detail on the side.

Oh yes, a lovely transition into fall. A Burberry trench. Classic khaki color. My next one I hope for a black or violet.

H&M Garden Collection Brown-khaki Waist Jacket. I love the shoulder detail with the clasps and the moto element. Tough but feminine.

Other things, im considering... I have a Charlotte Ronson Leather blazer in there, maybe it might see Fashion week this time.

I have my bags ready. Have your Proenza Schouler PS1s ready and that little LV Speedy. Can hold tons. Lookbooks, emergency flats, water, mints, cards, camera, snacks, PDA, celly, notepad, pen, hand sanitizer, and face wipes. But my Crossbody bags, are a staple for me. Maybe a top handle too.

A lovely Juicy Couture Lotion is what I am loving right now. Great smell and its so fresh.

My Board is filling..... Well of course, other events, fashion week, and university are all starting in time. University begins again this Monday. 6 days away.. Oh my.

As I said Uni starts soon, doing some fact reviews and readings.

The space clean up is going well. Got these from container store.

And of course getting this organizer by Dooney & Bourke together. I need the agenda refill pages. These can do well if your going to a meeting, class, or wherever you need paper and things organized.

And I will take my new Celine darling out. She deserves it. Thanks Seller.

Well....now you guys know where I stand. BEING BUSY! I shall go continue doing so! Soon, I will do my Fall 2011 necessity list.~~Stay Tuned Lovies.

Celine Nano Shopper.....Obssessed

Wow, the Celine Nano Shopper is what im in love with. Not the bigger Celine Luggage Tote, But the nano. A great size, A gorgeous crossbody I believe.

I love it in contrast with this jacket with the sherpa.

The all green is very neat for a pop of color.

Nicky Hilton rocking her Celine Nano.

And... Nitrolicious with the Celine Nano in Red.
Its a really awesome bag in many colors but the first picture I have listed, is the most eye catching to me. Very classic combo.

Daylight come and me want to go out!

Yes its true. I am officially making over my room, and what way to celebrate than to go to the vintage places to celebrate the new beginning. Also College begins again in a week. Time to go out as much as possible.

Mum found this Coach. I quite love it. I snuck it for myself out of her stash of bags!
Lucky this new baby of mine, has a coach key chain on it already. I mean I see people customize their bags but I never bothered with it, now Im starting to see the whole business behind it. I am warming up to accessorizing...

Here is a new baby, bought from Ebay. Lucky I won I the auction. My very first Celine Bag Tote. :) I envision walking down Riverside Drive to meet up with a friend with this one. Then taking the Bus downtown to 54th street and the west side.

My other loves who are now starting to see wear, are my favorite activewear gears. Exercise Capris. These are a bit skin tight, so you feel light and can do more. I cant wait to use em. This is the Boston Marathon Adidas Gear. In celebration of the Boston Marathon 2011.

My other new beauty...My new Tory Burch bag. 3rd Tory Burch bag I have to myself. She will start to see daylight too. Just got her in the mail today.

Random photo for the masses, who believe clearwater pearls are not fashionable.

Pics from yesterday when I went to Brooklyn to my Aunt's lovely abode.
I did not take much. But I had to take a pic of the Minkoff Crossbody to my Croc inspired Messenger Bag.
And Finally.... I found my clear glass so I decided to carry it so we could all try on the Terry Richardson esque glasses. Quite neat right?
time for me to actually go out, dinner out in Long Beach. I shall carry my new Tory Burch this time, since she has been dying to see light.

Move those shoes sister!

So now is my first full outfit post in a long time. Yesterday was a hot day, so before the day ended, I lost my red H&M top.

Blouse: Button up Red by H&M
Shorts: Silk Green by Ann Taylor Loft
Top: Vintage stripes
Bag: Zebra Calfhair Rumor Crossbody by Rebecca Minkoff
Shoes: Orange Vintage

So lately, I have been absolutely loving this bag and wearing many different colors. Just exploring through different options. That would be the same as in college when you explore through different courses and paths. There are a million and one choices.

Same with brands. Mix and match, whatever fits your query.

Ran into this oldie at the mall. Remember Arthur, serrrrious blast from the past. Wish I could fit in there.

Bag from Loft. I got a few goodies. Ill reveal next posting. Reason I went to Loft: Because I saw it! Haha no really, I just felt to get a few good pieces and essentials to add to wear in the fall.
Can you say minimal color yet some pop of color? Confusing but the idea is so in my head.

Sam Edelman shoes. Almost mine. I wanted to buy them......so tempted. The right platform and height.

The other Sam Edelman. Spikes and studs on the back.

I officially have respect for 5"-6" inch heel women who wear em all day long or half day. I put these one for 10 minutes and omg. Dying. These essentially dont have much of a platform.

Ayooo. Photo Session in Off Saks 5th. Werq.

Attempting a little Karlie Kloss mixed with Natalia Vodianova. How is it?
The scene outside after all of it. And a night of billiards to end it off.
Here is my face after winning two games of Billiards at Dave & Busters. OMG OMG OMG.

Plus my new Harry Potter Years 1-7 7-DISC DVD SET!!!!!! YIPPEE! Now I need the last movie to be out and im done! IM SET FOR LIFE.

End my excitement.
