Favorite Finds from Forever21...yum

So I have been drifting back into forever 21 pieces because well they are affordable and it is always stylish but not so much.

Anyways, I took my first walk into a forever 21 in a few months and actually liked what I saw, quite a few pieces really stood out to me. They are good for autumn and possibly could be carried over to winter with the proper warm body accessories hence the warmers.

I really love these though:

This dress is very romantic of a victorian feel and yet very airy and free. I could definitely see these with a lovely pair of grey or black cigarette skinny pants with ankle boots. A fitted blazer could go with it.

Hmm, oxfords are all good. I especially love the ones that was in a recent target collaboration, i forgot the designer! Bad Kaye but anyway, oxfords can go with almost anything. I just love a pair of oxfords with a nice black skinny pants with a striped "Cosby" styke sweater. :)

I love these shoes. I have the ones by isotoner. They are a bit vintage I suppose. a 2.78 heel on them is not bad and is very comfortable. I love to wear them with my military style jacket and gap skinny jeans. Yeah, I truly see that skinny jeans are good on me along with straight style, but wide leg does not work.

These resemble the Miu Miu shoes but I always find either version to be very cute and flirty. Could be that one item that could pop a color into a universal color outfit or just any outfit that may be devoid of color or awesomeness.

A lovely fall appropriate bag, it is stylish yet classic. It reminds me of the PS1 bag, which I believe I have, :O, is it real not sure. Bought it from a small store in Bklyn. :) I think its real. Tags and all.

It is a wonderful must have jacket for fall because you need a wonderful jacket. I love the double brested style and it reminds me of Burberry's fabulous coats! Love it!

I love the sweater, the earth tone color, the bows, and the bit of seethrough on the shoulder bone. Reminds me of Louis Vuitton Fall 2010. The resemblance is uncanny, all thats needed is a flouncy 20s skirt with a Marc Jacob genius bow kitten heel shoes.

All in all, fall is fall...

Old Photo from Fashion Week --Lela Rose on a Sunday

This photo is a very special photo as it was when I met Linda Fargo of Bergdorf Goodman.
(sorry about the resolution, taken from my camera phone, since my nikon was dead) She was very lovely and gracious. Haha, she said at the time to "excuse the way she may look tired in the photo" and then I said "Nonsense! You look great all the time". I officially died you know.

At the time it was when I went to the Lela Rose show on Sunday during September's Spring/ Summer 2011 NYFW. Gorgeous collection!

Also Ken Downing of Saks was there, Jessica "Lowdnes" (sorry about the last name!) from 90210, Christian Siriano I believe I saw him, so cute!, and a few others.

It was a greaet show all in all and I got a preview of the new Lela Rose x Payless Collection due next year.

UNIQLO FALL With Ariel Lin

I always love Uniqlo and their adorable fall/winter ads. This one was a simple one with my favorite Taiwanese actress from It Started with a kiss, They kiss again, and Love or Bread taiwan dramas.

She is the lovely Ariel Lin. This year 2010's Uniqlo Asian Representative. Congrats to Ariel Lin, I know it may be old news but it is still new to me.

RETRO: Jean Paul Gaultier x Doc Martens Fall 2009

Remember seeing this recently in Lucky magazine back in March or April?

I just remembered about when I first heard about it from Fall 2009.

Now they are no where to be found but I still love it though.

I believe they retailed in the high hundreds. I still love them though. So edgy but a new look to Doc Marten classic boots.

My favorite version will always be the cutout knee/thigh high boots and the floral Doc Martens collection.

Stylo Yeux Chanel Eyeliner

I just bought myself a new eyeliner from the Chanel Soho store yesterday. I love the look of the store. I managed to see and closely look at the Chanel Fall 2010 "Wooly Fur" collection and in person, it is not menancing as people say.

Its quite adorable and fashionable. Especially the brownish red leather jacket with a little trim fur for about 13,000$ USD.

I loved everything I saw in the store but I knew I had not bought any Chanel item yet, so I look over at the makeup section, I saw the Blue/Black Satin nail polish which is popular but decided to go the eye route.

BTW, i hardly wear makeup, the only thing I like is eye shadow and eye liner. :) I believe the eye is the sexiest body part. (or if so)

I picked up the Chanel Long Lasting Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eye liner in 30 - Marine color.

I love it. I believe its a good value and I will wear it everyday.

Well in other news, I saw my dream chanel bag there, the classic look, so I am definitely saving up for it.

Plus the little shopping bag with the white Camelia flower is adorable.

The Dream Bag: Alexander Wang Sydney Velvet Backpack

Im in love with Alexander Wang fall 2010 ever since I saw the collection on live last February. The backpack with the velvet and the flowy fabric coming out of the back really got to me. And now I realized recently that it is for sale over at net-a-porter for about $750.

I can not believe it when I saw it on the website. I was tempted to click the add to shopping bag, but with what money! Haha, this one I am definitely saving up for. I want it badly.

Pic of Alex Wang with his EPIC bag!

Best Album Art Cover

I believe the best one of this year I have seen goes to Korean J-POP and K-POP singer BoA.

I like the way that they made her hair combine with all of the flowers, webs, and wicker.

Then to make it seem like she was just holding it.

Then the makeup being asymmetrical. Love it!

David Koma Spring 2011 RTW

I have recently started looking into more designer that I have never heard of or are not too mainstream yet and I have found David Koma. I heard someone mention him and to check his collection for the ladies of next spring and summer. Boy that was a good idea.

It felt like watching movable art pieces like what I would see in a museum, I felt the same way when Alexander McQueen was designing (R.I.P. SIR)

One of the reasons I like this collection is the use of black, goldish yellow and whites throughout the basis of the collection.

It was artfully done like he did every single look himself. And probably did.

In them the skillfull cuts, the application of stripes or strips of black and gold in a certain way cuts a sexy body for a woman.

The definied waists. The full outward skirts gives a romantic feeling. The colors and shapes and yet the makeup gives an edgy look.

This man has a vision and I would like to see it develop more and more.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2011 RTW

I always love viewing what Burberry puts out for us to be inspired by or would want to wear.

This year was no different. It may have been a little repetitive but the general idea is never boring.

The military-chic, classic trenches, moto jackets, the edgy girl is the idea.

I always love that sort of look.

The jewel tone pieces, the normal camel or khaki colored pieces, the womans defined waist with belts, and the ruching detailing on the shirts & dresses. Still love it.

Then later into we drift into leopard and some floral patterns.

This makes me want spring and summer to come quickly. <3

My favorite look is this one: Leopard and pants with a variety of spikes and coning.

House of Holand Spring 2011 RTW

I know this is very late but I am just getting a chance now to drift back into the European Fashion Weeks and tell the imagery.

This time around House of Holland was so beautiful. It is not the normal big lettering shirts, or statement shirts with the damn patterns.

It had a 70s vibe to it. Like you wanted to jive.

Some warrior-chic cuts, pinks, florals, intricate patterns, bright colors, and just a fun vibe to it.

The dresses were wonderful and appropriate this time around. ;)

You could definitely feel the momentum of spring waiting to happen again after viewing this collection.

I would be lucky to have a piece of this collection. :) Moolah.

A Michael Kors Fall

I always love Michael Kors pieces. Thy are interchangeable with everything else. His classic American woman with European influence but throughout the decades.

My personal favorite items would have to come out of the upcoming fall impending on us already.

Fall 2010 Kors style.

Favorite boots would have to be this one.It can go with almost any outfit to give that military and uproar edge. I love boots with buckles or lacing. Lacign to be exact.

The best outfits I would like to see or interpret this season would be:

This one is a major classic one. Reminds me of the 40s. I would love to see a woman wear this and strut down Broadway or 7th Ave. It just looks so chic and effortless. Reminds me of the 80s-90s supermodel era to be exact. Just fab without trying.

The modern business woman who can not don pant or skirt suits. This is stylish and classic at the same time. Women and menswear all in one outfit. I always love a blazer in an outfit.

Another effortless chic. You may be going to the gym, coffee run, or anything shopping day. Its cold out. No need to bundle and look like "Yeah...just go home", no. Make it casual and effortless. Throw on a long jacket with sweats and a tee.

The warm and earth tone colors and camel colors really bring it over the top though. I have been raving about this collection since it first debuted on the runway back in February.

Michael Kors is forever. (My mom always states that, well she has a lot of his handbags and shoes. Which explains it and I agree.)

My Doing List...

I have realized that ever since a new year and new semester started that course work is a lot but I have to do and achieve success. I have been trying to manage everything and not slack off on my nutrition, fitness, and down time.

I have decided to have my do-list listed so I am always reminded that it is here:

It is not easy but take it one step at a time.

Xtreme TimeSaver Training with Jackie Warner

I am a renegade for Jackie Warner fitness DVDs and her tv shows. The newest one being "Thintervention" makes me love her even more. She really does care and strive for you to do your best.

That why I had to order and try the new Xtreme TimeSaver Training which gives cardio pace and scultping strength training moves all in 30 minutes. It basically kicked my ass the first time.

Sure I have been doing Jari Love for some time, but this really kicked my ass making me want to work harder.

Jackie uses a combination of upper body + lower body, lower body+ core, and upper body + core combos for every move for 1 minute. Sometimes one side is 1 minute and the other is 1 minute as well.

I definitely see this as effective in the long run. At times I had to put down weights and go without it.

I burned about 200 calories ;) It was nice. I know that when I work and push through it harder, I can burned even more.

Jackie is a tough cookie, but she shares her cookies with you. Just be willing to work hard for it.

I can not wait for the extreme abs. :) Yum.

Barneys CO-OP in Cobble Hill. Coming-A-Coming!

It is realistic. Take that property grubbers. The new Barney's CO-OP is opening later today at 10 am?

I will definitely be stopping by before it may become messy. I will see if it is in comparison to Barney's CO-OP in Soho.

Brown paper is off and its ready for today.

Official images I will take and store but can not upload them for now.

Follow my tweets for updates about it.

Recap of Saturday's NYAF/NYCC Festivites

I will definitely upload pics later but I cant find the cord! Dang it.

Woke up 8am, had problems at the post office then headed over the big 'ol city for the big 'ol Javitz Center. Decided to walk it though, instead of getting on a full bus. More breeze through the hair and people watching yay!

Reached there and immediately met with my set of buddies. Got another sample of tissues for signing up for a free month of Japanese lessons and more vitamin water.

One thing I truly noticed about this year was the record amount of people that showed up just for Saturday alone. I understand that Saturday is huger than Friday and Sunday combined. But I digress...

There is was not that much free-swag this year. Everything was a pay-as-you-go deal.
Went to a Japanese Airline panel where I saw.... :O

Guess........ its Kanon! In person! I was standing next to him as he was walking to the next room for the next press conference panel about what is new in his music. YUM.

A lot of panels going on. One for a very important announcement between Stan Lee & Yoshiki of X-Japan fame.

I never got to go to much panels because I spent time at booths buying missing parts to my costume, DOMO HOODIE!, comic book, dvds, and just having a great chat with booth organizers. They are the only ones who I believe came readily on guard!

DC comics Luncheon, DC talent search, viewings, Minori Chihara concert (which I could not bother with and whatever), other outdoor concerts this year up at the Roseland Ballroom for Boom Boom Satellites, X-Japan, Puffy Ami Yumi, VAMPS, and a few others! AMAZING.

The amount of people made it congested after a while. The only thing about this year it felt unorganized and felt many in confusion.

I wearing the Press Badge, had many folks come upto me asking where was: food, the bathroom, press office, IGN theater, Panel rooms, the Masquerade, my life.

LOL I had to add in "my life", I guess that one is for me.

I dressed up as Soi Fong, 2nd Division Captain, from Bleach. Sans the hair, I made it too curly, I looked like Shirley Temple on drugs. (LMAO!) I stayed all day until 7:30 I said, "Line for Masquerade is too long, forget that..." Went up. Curled up in blanket and thought of tmrw. I did not get to go tomorrow again, boo I missed Sunday!

Other than that I loved the idea of bringing them together. But please organize it better.

Other than that I had a great time and can not wait for next year again.

~~Kaye Beeh.

P.S.-- Stan Lee & Yoshiki are coming up with a musicial comic book hero series which will also be visual as well as technological. Two legends coming together = great success.

ReCap of Friday at NYCC NYAF 2010

I did not get anytime there at all just to be clear people. I got a few photos, ill post them at the end of tmrw.

I still got my cosplay ready for tomorrow. Soi Fon from Bleach. If you see me, say hello, and do not be shy.

If you see free hugs and high-fives then do not be shy either! They all love you! :)

But anyway, I went to the Press Office, HUGE HUGE DEAL of a line. Seriously I spent 15 minutes in the lne but got FREE vitamin water! :) SUCCESS. Got the badge.

I had class at 3:40 pm, I look at clock....2:15pm. SHIT.

Made a move upstairs with my buddies, they separated as I had to leave soon. So I stopped by 2 booths. One with a fantastic artist who builds sculptures and figurines out of lego pieces. I got two amazing photos, Ill show it later! But he let me build a staircase...well....4 small floors. LOL (Gotta look up his name..I forget!)

Then I went to this booth about a new comic idea called Green Chip. Superhero who fights against a mad scientist and "beautiful but deadly woman named Virus". So clever. I will definitely take a picture of the coaster I got from the booth. "Chip Drinks" indeed.

Then it was 2:45! OMG, and I had to get to class in a mad rush. M34 to 2 other trains. Oh man.

Class was a bore when I reached. He kept discussing the same idea and everyone was falling asleep. But NO ONE is ever at my college on a friday! LUCKY ME.

I rushed back to the con only to see packing up! I managed to get a sword. Muahaha. Strike. Score!

Hopefully Saturday will be better. Going from 9:30-10 am to 9pm-10pm. Gotta Werqq it.

~~Kaye Beeh

P.S.- The comic con side seemed dead. -.-

This may be old news but... ITS ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILLY.

I believe Kaitlin Olsen had her baby which was a little boy named Axel Lee McElhenney with her co-star and real-life husband Rob McElhenney.

Its soo cute whenever I think about them together any how. Her pregnancy was written into the show so this will create a HUGE HUGE DEAL. (words of Charlie, and i feel his energy whenever I say HUGE)

They decided that their child will not enter showbiz until he decides to at the age of lottery buying and high school graduation.

Nice job and good choice. Let us see this kid grow up! :)

The baby will always be known for his middle name, DB. LMAO

Chanel Spring 2011 ---a LOOK

We all know that is was a wonderful variety to the show and fierce looks with appearances by Crystal Renn, legendary Ines de la Frange (I forget her last name! :O But I know Ines!) , and Brad Kroenig with his adorable son. 2 years old and rocking it.

Isnt it soooo cute?

NYCC & NYAF is upon us! --WHAT TO EXPECT

Today later on at 1 pm starts the amazing NY Comic Con & NY Anime Festival begins.

Expect a huge crowd, the McDonalds an avenue back to be full with the workers like WTF or "they have their yearly convention shit again", LONG LINES, ANY MENTION OF STAN LEE start with someone crying or going into his life history, THE JAPANESE POP STARS AND ROCK STARS HAVE ARRIVED IN NEW YORK so that means CONCERTS CONCERTS and more Concerts (YES!), Free SWAG and big ass bags to carry around, a lot of cosplay, lots of photo flashes (courtesy of everyone including me!), Yoshiki OMG, Sort of expensive food inside the con, BATHROOM LINES to be a little long at either bathrooms available, and panels & screenings with celebrities, artists, and guests of honor.

I hope that list does not scare you but makes you feel anxious. Please I hope so.

My part is always taken every year at these festivals and conventions, I love going, I love to cosplay, I love free swag, awesome food, meeting creators, cosplayers, anime watchers, manga & comic readers, and writers as myself.

This year again, I will be apart of the PRESS (yay) doing my usual thing, interviews, photo stills (when not prohibited - thanks MCh), and videos (when possible), my Nikon has not come back from the repairs, so I will be using my G1 phone which is awesome for all of these. I just gotta remember to bring a charger!

I SIFTED through THOUSANDS of emails about PR and invites and other enjoyable make-aware to come and check out things at our spot. So I complied a list of all of them and see If I can go to all of them because they seem interesting like the Seth Green & M Night Shamalayan & Stan Lee meetings. How cool.

I hear Stan Lee & legendary Yoshiki is due to make an announcement about something together. EPIC. Imagine if they said "We love comics and anime and you guys!" THEN that would be like".....okay....thanks for making us people wait in line for an hour for this but its the thought that counts"

I can not help but think of the people there at 6:30 am for the special tickets today Friday and the same again for tmrw Saturday. Minori Chihara signing you need a special tickets, forget that I need sleep. SLEEP please. This also reminds me of New York Comic Con year before last, when everyone ran on Saturday to the back to get into another line for Stan Lee tickets. The one guy that almost fell over, im sorry.

Anyways back to current:

I will cosplay as.........Soi Fon 2nd Division Captain from Bleach on Saturday, so look out for that. On Sunday I probably will go as her again or my Kung-Fu master costume inspired by Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Today Friday i am just mellowed by wearing my Ichigo Bankai Vizard mask and normal clothes.

Yeah, I would have went all out today but i am leaving that for Saturday but the main reason is I only have 1 hour to spend there today and then come back there at 5pm because college means you have a class always at some time. In my case class starts at 3:30 pm and ends at 5 pm. -_- BUZZER BORING!

Well, enough of my babble, farewell and until later with highlights and such good day fellow Beehs.

--Kaye Beeh

BTW: TODAY AT THE CON/ FESTIVAL since both are epic to go to on the same weekend with the same ticket!

ROBOT CHICKEN VIEWING, DC TALENT SEARCH, Marvel vs Capcom 3 reveal!, and Disney fall preview. I can not wait honestly. These are going to be HUGE.

Turbo Jam DVD

I seriously love Turbo Jam though, I have done some of the workouts already, Learn & Burn, 20 minute workout, Turbo Sculpt, and Ab Jam yesterday, which gave my ab's a kick in the abs.

You really utilize the pelvic tuck and try to hold it as you go through these 11 elite moves and variations with reps. Now to the point that your core feels everything.

I really feel as If I will definitely get a wonderful cardio workout everyday with Chalene as she is very inspirational and a fireball of energy!

I heard and seen that she has done Turbo Kick before, which sellso n ebay for over 10 dollars as rares.

Chalene Johnson will definitely work you into shape. Next on my list to do is order Turbo Fire and experience an even more ultimate rewarding workout.

BTW, P90x Lean week 1 is done. Lean week 2 I'm going to start soon.

Sass & Bide Spring Summer 2011

Wowzers, well this is late but I gotta say I love the Sass & Bide Spring Summer look for the upcoming season, reminds me a jungle with all of the animals being fashionable and ferocious.

MY favorite loook! Lioness looking for her prey. <3

01 October 2010

Hiatus Miatus

(LOL, i passed Kenmare today so I took a photo, i believe I needed this photo, dont ask why.)

Sorry folks, I have been hiatus for two weeks or so due to college starting up and everything in succeeding and survival. Cue "For The love of money" by The O'jays. The Apprentice Theme Song.

Speaking of which Im glad about the regular Apprentice set up again before the celebrity editions! And its focused on recession affected citizens who are struggling and/ or unemployed.

So yeah, I have been exercising a little less but still at good pace. I walk 5 or more miles every day. I bought tons more dvds, so more reviews, and i am on P90x Day 5. Legs and Back with the Ab Ripper X.

My room needs a good clean. I do not like ants or dirt. Please. I cant.

Im looking over Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week things, I like what I am seeing so far. I will post what I can, not at the normal off season spend but with accuracy on what I want to hit up.

One thing I gotta say is: Prada S/S 2011, warmed my imaginative heart. <3

:) Au Revoir.
