Throwback Look of the day -1

Today's throwback look would have to be from Oscar De La Renta Resort 2009

The lace and tulle layered dress is a dream. I envision a classic glam woman spending a night in Milan, a walk along the Champs Elysees, or an evening in Montmartre.

De La Renta is always a genius with romance.

Favorite Outfit of the day

Today's throwback look would have to be from Oscar De La Renta Resort 2009

Everytime I look at this lace & tulle layered dress I can not help but think of a night in Milan, a night on in Champs Elysees or an evening in Montmartre.

De La Renta is a genius, If I were to get married, which is way later in my life, I would definitely want a wedding dress designed by him. It would be a dream.

Hemalayaa 's Bollywood Booty workout DVD Review - Acacia Fitness

Another masterpiece of a dance routine was the Hemalayaa Bollywood booty. It reminded me of the show 'Shimmy' that comes on Fit Tv, back when I had verizon and had the privilege of having it for so many years, Thank you.

The dance routine consists of some gyrations, hip movements, arms raises, and truly feeling like a bollywood or bellydancer of some sort.

I did the routine for a 15 minutes just to test out by the hotel I was staying at. They had the Get Fit. Stay Fit program over LodgeNet, so I click and tried it for free. It is so wonderful and I definitely felt sensual, sexy, and working hard to whittle away the inches at the same time.

It does not come off as a workout but it sure does feel like it.

There is the full DVD workout to buy, which I gotta say, I am definitely going to pick up.

Plus Hemalayaa I realize has a lot of workout dvds so far. Next one of hers I want to try, is in the Fit in 5: Ultimate body blitz (greenish cover?), its her yoga inspired routine.

Next review shall be the Weight Loss Cardio Sculpt (when I finish the routine, haha!) and Weight Loss Cardio Kick then Qi Gong fire. Not sure if I am ready for Duncan Wong Source Power! Haha let me know.

Favorites Nightime Emmy Awards Fashion Looks

The Emmy's few hours ago was funny, heart-warming, stunning, and shocking all in one. It would definitely make an EPIC yearly movie (Emmys: Move it or Lose it).

Anyway, I know some of the reasons many people around the world watch the awards shows is to see the fashions, I know I do but im not that obssessed that I must completely abandon the whole show. This time around I actually watched the whole award show and loved it. Jimmy Fallon is a funny guy, honestly. His stint as a Boys II Men and Elton John will never be forgetten as long as I live!!! Its gold. Stay Gold, Ponyboy.

Anyways, the fashion was on key as it was mostly hits but some safe choices which I was like, yawn.

As I know New York Fashion Week, London and rest come around again, I need risks thank you very much.

I will definitely make this quick and to the point, as I am nearing for sleep. I have about 5 favorite Emmy looks that I know some will agree with and If you dont, then so be it britchers.

January Jones in Versace. I kinda liked it but it was a mess. Not worn right for me.

Tina Fey in a black silk organza Oscar De la Renta Gown. Gorgeous. Best one of the night to me.

Ryan Murphy definitely blew me away, when he wore the Tom Ford bluish tux.

The cute and hot couple Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer both in Alexander Mcqueen. Love it.

Kim Kardashian looked like a Greek Goddess in this Marchesa White flowy number.

Claire Danes in Armani Prive looked glam and worked it. The beading did not hurt my eyes but made them cry in fabulousity, Oh Gio.

But the bombshell gorg piece had to be Christina Hendricks with her natural curves, which looked gorgeous and to die for celebrated in Zac Posen.

Tonight was definitely a Calvin Klein, Marchesa, Zac Posen, Oscar de la Renta, & Tom Ford kinda night. Classic looks and some edges to it.

Colombian Lux Lifestyle Event -Amazingness

Last night I had the privilege by a new friend (the lovely Sophie Elgort) to attend the Columbin Lux event yesterday evening. When I first arrived, of course it was invite only, so I had to stop and give my name.

I reached at 7:30(the train and cab combo, not so pretty). I was amazed by the amount of crafted gowns and dresses of different materials and I could definitely see the South American influence. I believe they were handcrafted. Either way they are to die for, the patterns, the materials, and the tailoring details. They just greeted me at the door. (Mind my camera, it was acting up, so the swimsuit photos are from my phone's camera and videos)

Then as I walked around there was a variety of people there, which was a good sign.

Definitely loved the colorful bags and complimentary iced teas during that night. I know I learned a lot more about their lifestyles.

Afterwards, came the mingling, and then the fashion shows. I only stayed for one, which was the swimsuits. It was sexy, the models were very gorgeous, and swimsuits were very lovely, some a little revealing but in a good way. Definitely a woman of confidence or who wants to celebrate her body. Pitahaya swimsuits are gorg!

I also saw this guy that looks like Isaac Mizrahi, I got a real kick outta that. He was hot though. A girl that had some amazing leather leggings, so so chic.

All in all, it was a good event including the piano player, such a soothing voice. My buddy Laura & my partner in crime. (Haha, the camera decided to put her upside down)
My outfit for the day was a Libertine Bolero Jacket, Neon Lights Black Tee, Vintage Light Denim Capris and Sam Edelman Open Toe Oxford Flats. (Definitely not my best or worst outfit, I rushed there anyway. The day did not start off well, but ended on a good note, everything of mine is being laundered, so thats the best I had.)

Fun and Fun ~Kaye Beeh

Happy Birthday to Legendary Tom Ford

Today being August 27th, dates back to when Tom Ford was brought into this world and showed us all the true passion for fashion. His glam, eclectic, and visionary nature is always celebrated.

Happy 49th prince! (He is soo great, that the picture comes off the page.)

Sea of Blues --A Polyvore Set Story

I made yet another Set, but this one is a little more descriptive, I read a romance novel beware then afterwards I took a look into July Vogue... haha.

It all started with the shoes, I picked the shoes and then the story started.

Chanel Resort 2011 - a look back at 1 male model in mind

As I looked back into Chanel Resort 2011 pics, I was glad to see Brad Kroenig again. Him and his sexy rugged self.

This post may be pointless, but I was excited to see him re-appear again. Hopefully he can make much more appearances PLEASE.

Crystal Renn & Baptiste Giabiconi graces Chanel Soho-reopening Ad 2010

Doesn't he just beckon her to come back to bed with him? :O Does she or not? Her feelings of uncertainty make her want to wrap herself in a fluffy overcoat(?) and feel better. Hmm, doesnt clothing make us all feel better sometimes?

I gotta admit I am proud of Baptiste Giabiconi when he first hit the scene back in 2008, I was captivated by his lips and hair, they really draw you in. He has been Goody Karl Lagerfeld's muse for about 2 years now. He seriously has a good thing going and not only does he bring presence to ad campaigns but also on the runway, you think, dang I would love to see him come back next season and present more clothing.

I am also proud of Crystal Renn because this was definitely her year, I mean back to back bookings and campaigns, not to mention runway appearances. Also she proves that her image is to her liking and she is comfortable with who she is.

Many people may say the ad is boring, but it evokes this burning emotion in the pit of your stomach that wants to be unleashed but does not know how. It relates with the Chanel Soho store opening with feelings of anxiety (in a good way), which I have had the pleasure of visiting many times, lovely sales personnel and customer service.

Vogue Nippon September 2010 Cover Natasha Poly

As some of you may or may not know, I love my Nippon Vogue on a Saturday or Sunday on a bench in the street with trees and breeze, just dog-earring pages and pages of ideas and things I love and do not want to forget. Religiously.

When I looked through September 2010 Covers, Ill post the ones I love a lot, I noticed one of my runway and print model favorite Natasha Poly, who puts the fierce in catwalk, is the cover model. I congratulate her as being on a September cover is a huge deal as is any other month but less huge. :P

Still waiting on my Vogue Nippon, I get it from a bud overseas :O cheaper and fashionable, all in good faith.

My Dream of The Great Gatsby

I had to read this book in high school for AP English Lit and boy it was a trip. Seeing the film with Paul Rudd and reading the book, there is a lot of themes and ideas that were explored in it.

One of those themes was the way Jay Gatsby presented himself in order to gain Daisy's approval with the rich fabrics and yet she was the walking contradiction.

I remember the idea of whites not being dirty was significant of the wealthy and of money. It showed good faith, purity, and power.

I loved the fashion of the 20s to be honest. West Egg and East Egg near Great Neck. The party central of the New York Elite and crashers to chill out during the weekends.

Flappers and hats, yumm. Materialism was a theme and the American Dream to be achieved but lets not forget about the incredible 20s style evolution.

I can not help but think of Coco Chanel, Paco Rabenne, Paul Poiret, & Elsa Schiaparelli. Classic. Classic. Classic. Id also say Dior and YSL in a way, but they did not exist in this time as of yet.

So I thank F Scott Fitz and his lovely wife dubbed as queen of the flappers in 1920, Ms. Zelda Fitz (nee Sayre.)

My New Fall Burberry Inspired 2010 Look

As I love looking through the burberry fall archives from 2008, 2009, and the newly 2010, I found the great Christopher Bailey's 2010 looks very gorg as always. For someone like me who really can not take much colors and bright looks, this is a shoe in for me. That classic yet aviator-ish look with the military and utlitarian look.

I like the flowing material with a lined cut and finish. The structured looks with aviator jackets, light but not bright colors, the contrast & architectural heights brought to the whole line inspired me to create a look that would be good for the woman who loves structure, classic, edgy, military, yet chic & casual stylish.
