Core Fusion Yoga... I've tried it. (Compliments to YogaVibes & Exhale)

Do you guys remember yesterday when I told you that I bought 2 classes to view for 2 weeks from YogaVibes? They were Core Fusion Sport and Core Fusion Yoga. I tried Core Fusion Sport yesterday, so if you missed it...check the post before this one.

But anyways, today I decided to Core Fusion Yoga. I thought it was going to be simple yoga but no it is definitely not. A heavily Qi Gong powered moves with a vinyasa flow yoga and core fusion elements in this hour packed class. Definitely yes.

Ill admit im rusty in Yoga, I used to practice everyday with my Namaste Yoga on FitTv (no longer have Verizon....crap :( ) I lost them....so the practice left me.

Started with stretches, then moved onto alot of detoxifying twists, sun salutations, downward dogs, chatranga pushups, high planks, upward facing dog (which I love), leg bends, c-curve curls at end, qi gong wide stances with energy ball movement!, and half moon (dancer pose) with the cat rolling & warrior series.

Ill admit, warrior 3 I suck. Half moon I can get into. When we push into needle...my legs dont cooperate to go high. I understand you work to your limits and comfort.

All in all, a wonderful cool down and I thought of nothing but the sequence as we did it. Stressless, mindful, & soulful.

Wonderful class, id love to take in person just like CF Sport. CF Cardio..I would definitely love to see a video. I would not want to go and feel lost or spaced out.

Onwards, to try hot yoga...or bikram yoga. God help. I am crazy but courageous is my middle name. Try it guys!

Cheers,

Core Fusion Sport...Ive tried it (Thank you to Exhale & YogaVibes)

So I was curious for a while about Core Fusion Sport along with Core Fusion Cardio, Music Flow Yoga, other yoga classes, and Core Fusion Yoga.

I got an email yesterday from Exhale reminding me about YogaVibes videos of Core Fusion workouts. Ive been watching those previews for a while. I decided to punch in promo codes and finally buy Core Fusion Sport and Core Fusion Yoga (later post) for only 8 dollars.

So I can do them for up to 2 weeks unlimited.
But I want to do them now and practice them before going into the class and feeling lost like a dinosaur! Rawr!

So anyway. I came home from the gym... mistake mistake haha, and went straight to the video. Sweating within 10-12 minutes. That did not stop me though.

The beginning was nice with stretching and then came many squats, pushups, and jumpbacks. Jumpbacks were not bad for me at all.

My entire body was definitely engaged and it was alot of Cardio and strength all together. I had to stop for a 1 minute to catch my breath because I felt a little woozy but then I continued.

Loving the challenge. Moved down to legs floor work then abominable abdominals.

All in all, it was a challenge but I felt great afterward..energized & tired at the same time. No passing out but a confident stride to the shower. haha!

Sensa Sensa Read all about it!

Okay, I so im on my 12th day-13th day for Sensa weight-loss system.

It contains no msg and I get no headaches contrary to cynical beliefs.

It really helps me to control my eating and I actually get full easily, so no more over eating.

I sprinkle when I can remember, but I still reap the benefits.

Ive lost about 2-3 pounds now, I can not say it is the Sensa alone. With Sensa I eat what I like, but in moderation & I add more whole grains and healthier choices.

Compliments to exercise at my gym, home dvds, and Exhale Core Fusion classes. (free gym passes too counts I suppose)

But I think its a cool program. Ill try it out for the 2 months im designated for and we will how far my journey will continue.

to be continued...

Reminisce of Chanel Fall 2010 --with Mr Joe Zee!

We all remembered the Chanel Fall 2010 showing in the last few months ago and how extreme and MAJORLY cool it was. I thought I was looking at elegance in star wars and how our environment truly is involved in our lives.

Some photos from then which are my favorites.

But new photo! SPOTTED: Mr Joe Zee of Elle Magazine werqqing it in Chanel Fall 2010 on a Starbucks "iced" coffee run. ;) Loving it. That ferocious beast finally comes out and I want more MJZ!

Milano Men S2011 Part Due!

As I have yesterday, flocks and herds continue to galavant in Milano!

Today I shall a look upon: Burberry Prorsum, Alexander McQueen, Dolce&Gabbana, and Roberto Cavalli

Over at Burberry Prorsum there was: boys in shades, the trenches, khaki colors, browns, blacks, military styles, scoop neck shirts, the showing of chests again!, tailored slim pants to perfection, rockerish feel and little country meets military city with the normal aesthetic of Burberry. lovely hues for spring Loved it!

Alexander McQueen, under Sarah Burton who did a great fierce job!, was a very interesting collection as it reminded me of career day, like different guys in different career-type outfits, one looked like a pilot, and one looked like a matador! There was a variety of pants such as wide legs and slim pants. This one had a 1920-1930s feel to it. very cool hues for spring. The pants truly reminded me of the baseball era during which babe ruth, yogi berra, and joe dimaggio ruled.

Dolce & Gabbana was sexy and 40s with a twist of James Bond feeling as always! There was a resurgence of bare chests! shorts , legs, and gorgeous italian image! Crisp white shirts with khaki cropped pants/capris. All color ensembles, gorgeous striped shirts and tidy-widies. Towards the end the ripped jeans and stampede of Bond-like dudes in the classic suits we love to close it. The use of blacks, whites, cremes, and khaki colors making the collection a true spring/summer staple for men who may love fashion, want to look cool, look good, or need to wear something! Dolce & Gabbana always do a great job of delivering that! No wonder my dad loves their blazers!

Last but not least, Roberto Cavalli, the man of prints, animalistic feeling, and sensuality we all love as racked up a stunning collection for men this spring! The flocks of colors, a 70s vibe! Printed pants, transitional colored pants, matching blazers (at times), bollywood type of feel, opium denish feel, and slim pants once again. The man who loves his color, vibrant lifestyle, and doesnt give a sh*t about what anyone thinks. A+++

Milano Men's Fashion Week S2011

Milan menswear is indeed upon us as fashion flocks back to Milan for the menswear collections to come out of fashion houses such as Vivienne Westwood, Gucci, John Varvatos, Versace, Dolce&Gabbana, Etro, Roberto Cavalli, Missoni, Burberry, and Prada.

I spent almost half the day watching videos and jamming down ideas and comments I got on the shows I got to see and loved what my little eyes behold upon.

Over at John Varvatos: An array of deep grays, navy, and blacks on jackets, blazers, and vests. It reminds of a european paperboy back during madeline's time. Country-rocker. The one look that was nice was the plaid suit and long haired dude. He had this cool aura about him, mostly all of the gorgeous dudes did. The look was casual and cool yet effortless. The pants were either at the knee or to the ankle but they tailored so well. The between straight and skinny pair of pants on a guy is truly lux.

Versace had a nice aura as well: It had a 50s-60s feel to it, some looks made the men seem like mechanic's on a night out with the flounced hair. Once again, the pants same like varvatos, truly tailored to perfection! The colors here were like High School prom jewel tones and checkered looks, truly divo european chic. Towards the ending, were chests galore with boxers and vast robes in animal prints for the inner rocker or playboy in all guys. Divine.

Gucci did a double take indeed. It was all about showing a little chest hair in a rugged way yet stylish way. And boy are men showing legs for spring 2011. Denim hues, browns, and cool navy and creme hues. Some looking like fall 2010 looks (but just a hand full). Truly shows the story of the Italian man, very fashion forward, lovely tailoring to the T, that airy confidence about him, stunning navy suits, and the brown hued leather jacket looks and creme hues had a 70s man to it. I wanted to see an afro and gold chain added! The all white looks toward the end were so well put together. And the 4-5 different jewel toned jacket with white pants towards the end were lovely. Again, I wished for a gold chain effect!

"Can Not Be Tamed" -- Surely Not Miley Cyrus

(courtesy of NYMAG)

Miley Cyrus was seen wearing this monokini with hot leather shorts over it and performed with it at the Much Music Video Awards recently. She was grinding it with Justin Bieber and performing all sorts of gyrations on stage.

Is she not just seventeen now?

The monokini is lovely but lovely for the beach hon. In public as a normal get-up, Gaga, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Lil' kim is light years ahead of you in that department.

But I believe this will not be the only shocking thing she will do. She is in her growing phase, so expect tons more skin and out there looks.

Have Fun Miley. (we are all watching) :P

Core Fusion Class with Mr. Fred Devito

As I was walking through the corridor to get to the class, i kinda stopped because I saw Fred Devito in the doorway greeting everyone! :O

I was so excited and ready to do a class with him as my teacher. So yeah I mentioned my first class with him ever and how im the twitter-talker. XD Too funny and he is such a cool dude seriously.

Class was full, it was Core Fusion Open. So no sport or cardio, no deaths today :o)

Well for the class, we did a ton of stuff. Worked the arms to exhaustion. The Thighs and gluteals to quivering, and the abs to strengthening & a relaxing stretch at the end to feel great about what we accomplished.

So throughout the whole class I wore my Heart Rate Monitor and my calories burned was 701. Haha, thank you for a great workout Fred!

The best part was the flat back/ round back section. :) My feet came off the floor for parallels and turnouts. Lately, my feet have been off the floor, which Im truly excited about! YUSH!

But man, Fred's choice of music for the whole class was all of my absolute favorites the ever talented late Mr. Michael Jackson MJ and the relaxation was Bob Marley and reggae songs at the end.

Plus the occasional jokes made the whole experience fun.

Im definitely taking more classes with Fred as a teacher. Really pushes me to my limits in a good way.

(haha, in the end I asked him if I would die in Core Fusion Sport. :P But im glad I got the answer I did: no deaths, but try it.)

Beeh Review: Reebok EasyTone Technology (Sandals) & Sneakers later

They are the shoes and balance-ball technology behind those groovy commercials with high bottoms and sleek toned legs! I made it a mission the first time I heard about them to try them out instead of the Skechers Shape-Ups which I will admit its an okay shoe but scares me.

I bought them a few weeks ago from Nordstrom and decided to wear them for a week or 2 before I rave about it!

So I did that and the shoes are fantastic! When you walk, there is a nice sensation to the bottom and calves area when you walk. Also there is a feeling in the quads as well!

Though weight loss id say have to include other factors, these are good for toning in the long term run!

With these, your core is engaged and the impact of your feet on the ground is definitely less than how you would wear normal sandals and have the arches & heels of the feet hurt after a while.

They are great for walking and love how Reebok has re-vamped their brand.

Buying the sneakers in a few weeks!

Have fun REEtoning everyone!

Review: SlimQuick energy shot

Okay so when I was away on a trip down in Atlantic City, New Jersey... :D. I go to the 99 cent store I usually go to (trust me, everything stays 1.00, nothing above) and then I see the SlimQuick product and I go ravenous, so I buy 6 packs because well normally they run you 5 dollars a box. So today when I was feeling a little jetlagged and wanted a real good boost to workout and feel motivated and great, I took half of one SlimQuick energy shot even though they give 2 small bottles for the day. I followed the correct instructions, dont take 5 hours before going to bed.

When you initially taste it, the Berry Lemonade flavor isnt like your normal Minute Maid or Tropicana juice taste but blech! Hold your nose and throw back that shot! Then drink some cold water. After about 15 minutes, I felt the great energy and effects. No jitters or heavy breathing or fast heartbeat, sure you feel a great feeling overcome you but its not bad. It lasts about 5-6 hours and it does its purpose. I wish they made it taste better.

But with it today, I did my Exhale CoreFusion workouts with a harder persistence and edge. I think im on to something. I would not live on them but use them when I feel as if I need to. And today, jetlagged and in need a good workout, it is needed.
