This savvy company is like a stylish friend who knows when and where all the best sales are. Exhale NYC Mind-Body Spa - Core Fusion

Well you have all heard of the Exhale Core Fusion dvds, which I love and have been doing for two weeks. But there is tangible spas around the country, and just in new york there are about 4 locations with 1 being for residentials only via Manhattan House.

Yesterday (Sat may 8th) I went to the Central Park South location for my 7 day transformation 1 week unlimited membership. And boy was it lovely. The atmosphere is just right, nothing stressful and all gendered alike. There is an area for spa treatments, nail treatments, a little replenishment of teas, clothing to buy like workout clothing, womens and mens changing rooms with high tech-like lockers, showers, a steam room, and their own products for cleansing and hair alike.

I took a core fusion basic class but missed yoga that morning but any who, i felt a little lost so I talked to some staff members and other students there and everyone was so relaxed and helpful. You get into class and you bring your little towel and start working immediately with weights and all. It was a true total body workout. The legs, upper body, and core all worked simultaneously. The instructor pushes you in a good way and is very positive towards you. Personally, I liked my instructor alot! (Thank you Marnie!) Then the stretches after each section was sooo great and felt good. It was about an hour and some minutes long. After class, you can climb up these series of connecting bars and just hang and stretch out after that hard work.

The Stall Bar from which I hang for a nice elongating stretch.

Then after you shower and blah blah, feel refreshed.

When Fitness Magazine said Exhale is one of the best Spa like gyms. I agree 10000000%. I definitely see myself pay for packages of classes, pay for singles, and then purchase membership this fall. (Thats my plan of execution)

So visit Exhale Mind Body Spa as soon as you can!

(Next Week Ill be doing Yoga with them for the first time, along with another core fusion basic and another class, so stay tuned)

Ciao! :)

Oh Lucite, you mesmorize me soooo....

Lately, ever since I have seen the Bergdorfs spring/summer shoe book and magazine along with other jewelry catalogs, also the fendi and prada ss 2010 runways. I have been interested in a little buddy named Lucite. You know there are different styles and ways to have lucite. In shoes, bags, furniture, holy cow...I could die from lucite-lust.

Here are some really cool pics of lucite dominance.

All of those are featured in the Prada Spring Summer 2010 collection of lucite accesories like your floating on air or mesmorizing water :P Haha, I love it.

Next is some from Fendi Spring Summer 2010 which are so lux with other elements featured with lucite.

I love the lucite earth brown tone platforms from Fendi, those are really cute. I like the idea of wearing trench coats to contrast with the lucite platforms, gives an architectural feel and structural height. I could just imagine fendi or prada doing a campaign of model wearing a trench coat with the lucite heels in front of a skycraper building bending backwards (sans Natasha Poly Gucci spring/summer 2010 campaign).

Some lucite furniture which is pretty cute along with chic lucite jewelry.

Sakura Matsuri 2010 at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Sakura Matsuri was for Saturday and Sunday. (I could only go on Sunday for the whole day but Saturday for a little bit because of the Temperley London Spring 2010 Bridal Collection, which Ill discuss in another post)

If I were to tell you that a festival is a small function I would be underestimating by the thousands/hundreds. I happen to love the Sakura Matsuri which always comes around early May, it was actually my first year where I am the volunteer of the event. It was a blazing sun with sweat and tons of trips to the bathroom, tons of cold icy water to hit your face and throat but it was worth it. I worked in the patio gift shop and saw tons of cosplay characters like Sonic the hedgehog hats, geishas, yukatas, kimonos, asian wear, Sonya Blade, Sesshomaru, the chain gang, and lolitas and goth lolitas. It was awesome meeting new people and helping out others.

Everyone laying out onto the grass and enjoy the festival. It definitely reminds me of Coachella. Plus the beer there haha, I can not have any but tons of people got sake, water, tea, and tons of sushi! They even had sushi pillows.

Then the manga library was nice with the artists, the comedy of Uncle Yo XD (that dude is sooo hilarious), so many cameras, bonzai museum, the cherry esplanade stage with performers and classes and workshops about japanese culture.

The Ultimate way to end a weekend was today at the Sakura Matsuri under the blazing sun with a nice Hinata Hyuuga cosplay and an oriental fan/parasol which has nothing to do with your cosplay but looks wicked kickass. Truly a magical event! I hope to see everyone again next year. (For cosplayers, see you at June or September for comic con and anime fest!)

I took videos but I have to upload them later. No pictures sadly but these are pretty good. (thanks from the respective owners), i didnt bring the Nikon but had the HTC phone.
