Designer Collaborations and TOPSHOP OPENS!~

There was the lovely and splendid Alexander McQueen for Target, which I own a few pieces from, which came out in March and is very well ending a few weeks! (;[ a good era is going soon)

Even tough its not too collaborated, TopShop finally opened its doors Last Week! There was a week long launch party, Kate Moss was there! And among the party was Taylor Momsen, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, and Marc Anthony!~ Wow it was star studded!~ They got to preview the store, enjoy club soda, after party afterwards, and free grab bag stuff!~ This was the big event since Gucci opened up on 5th Avenue and Giorgio Armani opened up 2 months ago up in 5th Avenue!~ (P.S. = Im going to TOPSHOP TOMORROW~! So ill post pictures and tell all of you non-New Yorkers or New Yorkers at heart, what the inside of a mega-million hotspot shop looks like!~) Lets just hope that it doesnt fall victim to the economy like our fellow Russian Princess of Fashion Kira Plastinina, whom had all North American shops except one in Los Angeles, close up due to the economy. Poor Plastinin, at least she has over a million shops in Russia and surrounding Asian nations to keep her fashion dreams alive.

Future:

Fear not, Roberto Cavalli lovers, even if Cavalli (Yay that Just Cavalli got picked up again by his financial investors!) isnt in H&M again, we finally have MW soon!

Matthew Williamson for H&M summer collection is coming May 14th!~~ Finally we can rejoice!
Target will be having Rogan Gregory and Scott Hahn's collection of Organic cotton fiber clothing, LOOMSTATE, being affordable is coming back again and is GREEN this time baby <3!>
With all of these dates in mind, mark your calenders ladies because Spring and Summer, Schools almost over is in gear and we love a good time, fashion and shopping time that is.
Open for business and being recession-proof!,
Love ya, Kaye Beet. <3

Oooo! Did Miley really do that?

In the latest issue of Teen Vogue, the May 2009 edition with pop princess Miley Cyrus on the cover, in her interview, it seems she said and i quote "I'm not a huge Rob Pattinson fan. Girls aren't really in love with Rob, they're in love with Edward". But hey she really cant say it because she finally admitted that Justin is her boyfriend. Did we also know that they live together? Where is the parentals? I heard her father is trying to be strict but Miley and her mother are the ruling forces. Her quote seriously attacked Robert Pattinson himself, girls could obviously like him for him!~ She doesnt know that all the guys that could possibly like her, could only love her for being Hanna Montana, her "Alter ego". Love ya Miley, be careful of what you say.....it could be argued with anytime.... <3

Not in Slight Moderations

As we have all seen such magazines as Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Marie Claire, Vogue, and Nylon, which have lovely cover models ranging from Models, TV Starts, Reality Personalities, Singers, and normal Starlets. The real question is we are presented with these girls and sometimes cover guys which we must look up to and the thing i dont get is when are we to see girls who have volunteered for their communities, took up harder working jobs without glamour, or have jobs that save lives or requires tremendous hours of work. I agree that starlets have to wake up early and work hard for their millions of dollars but what i dont understand is how come normal life-saving or jobs that handle millions of people's minds (Being educators) is lowly paid for. I believe the hype, and America's demand for more of the glamour, entertainment, and living "The American Dream" is what contributes peoples hard earned money to be given to people, some of which are younger than them! For example, starlets like Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Sophia Bush, and Selena Gomez, whom are big stars (I love them all!) They are great but the money they earn isnt equally shared among "real" jobs such as being firefighters, doctors, engineers, pharmacists, teachers, professors, and accountants are underpaid. Thank goodness nowadays for disasters that such jobs as Biotechnology and going "green" are finally underway! Specializations in jobs such as Cardiologists are paid "450,000" a year, while a movie star is 3,000,000 perhaps a salary per movie!?

Can you , anyone, explain this diffrentiation to me?

Economy on Our Fashion..or....Fashion on Economy

It turns out that our classical favorite designer shows are getting ready to show their resort collection line in a few weeks. Chanel will be definetely showing (Great going Lagerfeld!) in Lido Beach on the Excelsior in Venice, Italy. It will be the only full-scale show going on strong Unfortunately, Christian Dior and counterpart J.G. (John Galliano) will not being showing this year's resort collection, has it has been canceled. Gucci is affected as well in which in previous shows it has shown in Both Rome, Italia and New York, New York....But for this year, its only New York in June it will show.

~~~Wow~~~. We have to be saved because if fashion can suffer from this, it can get ugly.
